The 52-year-old stunner told My Dirty Laundry Podcast who almost got a role in a movie that ultimately went to Cameron Diaz.
The role put Cameron on the Hollywood map when he was just 21 years old and became one of his most famous roles to date.

She said: ‘In fact, I was once up for the lead role in The Mask. It was Cameron Diaz and Angie Everhart who were willing to do it.
Caprice has revealed she almost won the role of one of Cameron Diaz’s (right) most iconic film roles – speaking from her home on the My Dirty Laundry podcast.

She said: ‘In fact, I was once up for the lead role in The Mask. It was Cameron Diaz and Angie Everhart who were willing to do it’ (Angie in the photo from the 90s)
‘I went on two calls with Jim Carrey to read with him. Nobody knew. I forgot about that too.
But he said that despite not getting the role, he has no hard feelings about the situation.
Caprice continued: “When I saw it in the cinema, I thought, ‘Oh my God,’ but everything happens for a reason and I can’t complain because everything turned out great.”
“There’s not a lot of stability in the entertainment world, but I think because I realized that at such a young age, when I was at the top and started with my By Caprice products and my property portfolios, all the things that really make than real money.
“People think I’m just a dumb blonde, but I use that to my advantage. Since 2024 came around, I’m on the upswing, I’m on an upward slope right now. You know, I have the home launch of By Caprice at Macy’s.
‘We’re scaling to the United States, which is great. And then, you know, I shot these two movies first for America. It will arrive, it will definitely arrive in the UK for sure.
“It’s a lot of fun in the entertainment world because one year you’re up, the next year you’re down, and then it’s a roller coaster, you know?”
The role put Cameron on the map and she has enjoyed a great career in Hollywood – pictured opposite Jude Law in the 2006 film, The Holiday.
Caprice was hugely successful as a model and entrepreneur and is worth £24 million (pictured in the 1990s).
And it looks like Caprice’s movie dreams didn’t end there because she’s now starring in a promising Christmas movie.
She said: “I always wanted to make a Christmas movie and no one would hire me for any reason.”
‘So I thought, fuck it. I’m going to do this myself. That’s what’s coming.”
