Ben Shephard has finally resurfaced in Germany after awkwardly missing an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Monday morning.
The This Morning presenter, 49, watched England’s Euro 2024 final against Spain in Berlin last night with his good friend Chris Kamara.
After a long night of partying, despite the Three Lions losing 2-1, Ben ended up sleeping through his scheduled virtual reunion with his former co-star Kate Garraway on GMB.
Kate and co-presenter Richard Madeley had told ITV viewers earlier that morning that Ben would be returning to the show.
However, former England manager Sam Allardyce, 69, and ex-England player John Terry, 43, managed to appear via video links from their respective homes in Bolton and Surrey – but Ben was nowhere to be seen.

Before giving viewers a report on England’s defeat, Kate made a cheeky joke to her friend Ben, saying: ‘We were supposed to have Ben Shephard on as well but he looks like he’s taking his own personal bank holiday.
-He hasn’t gotten up yet this morning, we’ll see if we can wake him up.
He then joked to Sam and John: “Feel free to make fun of him while you’re talking. I know you know him very well.”
However, this afternoon Ben revealed he was safe and sound by sharing a selfie on Instagram with Chris and Rylan Clark.
Ben said goodbye to GMB after a decade of presenting with his old friend Kate to join Cat Deeley as the new permanent hosts of This Morning in February.
Ben and Cat are currently enjoying a seven-week break from This Morning, just four months after landing the job.
The new presenters joined the ITV daytime show on March 11 and are said to receive an annual salary of £555,000.
They will now be away for almost two months as part of the show’s annual summer break, which means a rotation of guest presenters will be required to run the show in their absence.

England were left heartbroken once again after losing in the Euro 2024 final after coming so close to winning their first major title since 1966.
Prince William and Prince George were also stunned when the Three Lions lost 2-1 to Spain.
Friday favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will kick off the summer shows from Monday 15 July, before a mix of familiar faces return to the sofa.
Also featuring as hosts are Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett, plus new mum Sian Welby, who is also returning to broadcasting since welcoming daughter Ruby last month.
Ben and Cat return to ITV’s flagship daytime show on September 2, with Alison and Dermot returning to present on Fridays on September 6.
Millions of fans packed bars and pubs hoping to finally see England claim their first win since the 1966 World Cup.
And big substitute Cole Palmer gave the nation confidence when he scored a brilliant equaliser in the 73rd minute after his side had been trailing early in the second half.
Drinkers celebrated wildly, with beers thrown into the air as fans chanted “It’s coming come”, while at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium, Prince William and his son, Prince George, punched the air in joy.
But the hopes and expectations of a nation were dashed minutes later when Spain’s Mikel Oyarzabal scored the winner past Jordan Pickford in the 86th minute.
