Rebecca Judd has sparked a storm after sharing her latest thoughts on Melbourne’s crime rate.

The football WAG, who resides in Brighton in a $7.3 million mansion, was invited to comment on an interview between 3AW radio’s Jacqui Felgate and Sandringham Liberal MP Brad Rowswell.

During the talk, Rowswell focused on the issue of rising violent crime in Melbourne’s suburbs.

‘Melbourne, this is sad. I woke up, ruined and violent. “I can’t believe we’re living like this,” Judd wrote, in a comment that appears to have since been deleted.

The statement prompted social media users to weigh in on their opinions, with many supporting Judd on X.

“Bec Judd is telling the truth,” one person wrote, while another agreed: “Bec Judd can be an influencer.” But she gets it right when it comes to “woke, messed up, and violent.”

“Everyone who lives in Melbourne knows what Bec Judd says,” someone else agreed.

“Exactly, the fact that people focus more on who is conveying the message rather than the message itself says more about them than it does about her,” said another.

‘I never thought I’d agree with Bec Judd… How’s the Labor police force? “Just leave the keys on the bench”…why do the crazy left support crime?,” wrote one more.

“Bec Judd, the notoriously hard-working, strap-booted *checks notes* Wife of a billionaire former professional athlete,” one joked.

“Some cutting-edge analysis from respected criminologist Bec Judd,” mocked another.

“If my views aligned with someone like Bec Judd, I’d have to take a long hard look in the mirror,” another person wrote.

“I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard right-winger Bec Judd complain about Melbourne. It’s so predictable and boring. *yawn* And he apparently he’s not even in Melbourne right now, he’s in Paris’ said another.

Bec's comments come after the latest outbreak of violence in Melbourne this weekend. A woman was allegedly stabbed by a trio of hitmen who are still at large after allegedly robbing three supermarkets and stealing a car.

What amuses me the most is that someone cares one bit about Bec Judd’s opinion. “I’d rather hear my cat’s opinion on his favorite crunchy ones,” another person posted.

Police are searching for three young men believed to be traveling around Melbourne’s outer suburbs in a stolen white Mercedes hatchback.

The men first attacked an IGA supermarket on Bernard Street in Cheltenham, 26 kilometers south of the CBD, where they jumped over the counter and assaulted a worker at 4pm.

The same men reportedly headed to a Dockendorff grocery store on Cochran Street in Brighton, 6 miles away, for a second robbery at 4:30 p.m.

Detectives from the Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit are interviewing staff at the grocery store where at least three workers are believed to have been assaulted.

It is understood a young female employee was stabbed during the incident and is being treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The men are also believed to have attacked a third supermarket in Burwood.

Judd has a long history of speaking out on issues that he believes affect his home state.

In March, he called Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan after a home invasion in her wealthy Bayside suburb left an elderly man fighting for his life.

Three criminals broke into a house in Beaumaris, a stone’s throw from Judd’s $7.3 million Brighton mansion, at around 1.30am on Monday.

“A 74-year-old man who was home at the time was seriously assaulted and was subsequently transported to hospital in a critical condition,” a Victoria Police spokesperson said.

In June 2022, Rebecca said she felt “unsafe” in her mansion and was “so fed up with the gang rapes, assaults and home invasions in Bayside.”

His 75-year-old wife, who was also home at the time, was not injured. It was believed that nothing had been stolen.

Influencer and model Judd, who lives with her husband Chris and their four children, shared a report about the story.

“Just another night in Victoria (yes, this is Bayside again, but we know this happens everywhere),” Judd told her Instagram followers.

‘Jacinta Allan, how do you keep avoiding this? Let’s see how many of the alleged criminals are out on bail… Our thoughts are with the victim in the ICU and his poor wife.’

Judd, 41, has persistently called on the Victorian government to do more to combat crime in Melbourne.

In June 2022, Rebecca said she felt “unsafe” in her mansion and was “very fed up with the rapes, assaults and home invasions by gangs in Bayside.”

“I personally know two women who have suffered home invasions in Brighton in recent weeks while they were at home,” he said.

She also reposted CCTV footage of a gang of youths lurking outside properties in her affluent suburb and claimed it made her feel “unsafe”.

The football WAG has continually demanded Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan “fix the system”.

In March, their demands were validated by evidence after state opposition Liberal MP James Newbury released crime statistics detailing there are 16 home break-ins every day in Victoria and a 43 per cent increase in aggravated robberies in Bayside.

“I’m pretty sure someone warned the government about this in 2022 and it was stupid,” Rebecca said.

‘They didn’t care then and they don’t care now. “This is an issue that affects all of Vic and not just Bayside.”

Bec resides in a $7.3 million Spanish colonial mansion in Brighton, Melbourne.

She and her husband Chris share four children; her daughter Billie, nine, her son Oscar, 12, and twins Darcy and Tom, seven.
