He’s a breakfast show fan favorite known for his cheeky sense of humor.
But meteorologist Sam Mac, 42, showed his romantic side on Tuesday’s episode of Sunrise when he revealed his fiancee Rebecca James’ nickname.
“It’s Boo, I don’t know why,” Sam admitted.
Then he adopted his usual cheeky style and added: “I’ll pass out the vomit bucket in a second.”
Sam made this intimate revelation while playing a game of “truth or dare” with Sunrise sports reporter Mark Beretta during a weather segment.

“It’s getting quite personal,” Sam said when asked about his family life with Rebecca.
The couple, who share a 15-month-old daughter, Margot, announced their engagement in December.
During the questionnaire, Sam was also asked if he had ever stolen anything.

And in a shocking confession, Sam said he had once stolen a football magazine when he was 12, adding: “My God, did my parents make me pay for that?”
“They punished me for 10 days and I had to go and apologize at the kiosk.” he added she.
It comes after Sam returned to screens in December after taking a month-long break from his role on the show to focus on full-time fatherhood.
Sam announced he would be stepping away from his duties a month early while taking paternity leave.
Sam’s decision was made to allow fellow stylist Rebecca, 35, to return to work for the first time since giving birth.

In an interview with New Idea magazine last month, Sam also praised Sunrise for its support and said he was “very grateful” for the opportunity to take time off for his family.
“I worry that I’m one of those parents who is too busy with work to fully experience all the milestones with my child,” she explained.
‘I love my job, but I’m often away from home. “I’m already noticing what I miss in Margot’s development,” Sam admitted.
Sam and Rebecca welcomed Margot in September 2022, two years after they started dating.
Announcing the happy news at the time, Sam wrote: “This is a love I didn’t even know existed. I’m overwhelmed and still processing everything right now. My girls. Wow.’
