When the Heart FM Breakfast presenter arrived in Surrey she was forced to stop cycling after suffering two punctures.

Amanda, 53, who has just completed day four of her charity bike ride, said: ‘It’s just annoying because it’s slowing us down and we’re just starting to get used to it!

‘Every time I get off the bike, my legs creak.’

If the first delay wasn’t annoying enough, Amanda was forced to get off her bike for the second time due to another puncture.

During the fourth day of her charity cycle, Leigh Francis hilariously surprised her dressed as Elliott from ET, with an ET model plastered in front.

And just when you thought the surprise was over, Leigh revealed she would be helping Amanda with a bit of today’s cycle on a tandem bike.

The couple jumped on the bike together and began to ride away while laughing.

Amanda will be cycling over 250 miles in a bid to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise.

The challenge began on Monday and will continue throughout the week as it travels through Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Surrey before arriving at its destination on Friday.

On Tuesday, she revealed that she had to strip naked while drying her wet clothes due to the harsh weather conditions.

The star revealed while sitting “naked with just a towel” while resting in a hotel after battling the “horrible weather”, and that she had suffered a “really strange” injury.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “My thumbs hurt, it’s really strange.” I’m currently sitting here naked with nothing but a towel around me because the weather is just horrible.

‘Monday was the worst for the hills, but now is the time. My wet clothes are drying on a radiator in this magnificent hotel called The Chapel. I had a baked egg and two hash browns for breakfast and just had some pumpkin soup before heading out again.

Amanda was completely shocked on Monday when she was told she would be making a £100,000 donation to Global’s Make Some Noise, the charity she is doing the challenge for.

She said: “We received a donation of £100,000 from the creators of the film The Wild Robot. It’s just incredible.

‘We have had a lot of people supporting us along the way. “It’s been really uplifting and beautiful and obviously it’s all for a great cause.”

The star revealed that she will use ‘bum butter’ from the beginning of the trip to the end.

In an interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column, the radio host explained: “I have padded bolsters and butt butter, but that’s just every day for me.”

‘I had never heard of butter, but now I have many varieties.

He added: ‘We estimate we’ll burn 15,000 calories a day. I still have Saganaki’s belly from my holiday in Corfu, so I’m doing this now for charity and to lose weight. I’ll be like Davina McCall when I get back. I’ll be gutted.’

Amanda is no stranger to tough challenges, having previously completed the Three Peaks Challenge, a 10,000ft skydive and climbed to the top of Blackpool Tower in aid of Global’s Make Some Noise.

However, Amanda’s ‘big commute’ will be the longest and longest Amanda has ever cycled yet.
