A Place In The Sun star Danni Menzies has opened up about what it’s really like working on the popular Channel 4 show, revealing she’s even “seen a few flashes” during filming.
The Scottish star, 36, has been one of viewers’ favorite hosts of the real estate show since she began co-hosting it in 2016.
However, Danni announced her departure from the show earlier this year and has opted for a surprising career change.
Along with The Health Lottery, she will front an “inspirational” podcast where she will speak to personalities including Loose Women’s Kaye Adams.
Reflecting on her time on the program, the presenter spoke with the daily star about what it was like behind the scenes at A Place In The Sun, including the “dodgy things” that sometimes happened in the background of his shots.

She told the newspaper: “I was doing a piece for the camera in Lanzarote and there was a nudist running around in the background.
“I was filming and they said, ‘Wait a minute guys, there’s something suspicious behind you.’
‘We also had it in Spain, we were filming and a guy passed by on his bike totally naked. There is a lot, I have seen some exhibitionists.
Danni added that “living out of a suitcase” took its toll on her and she found it “hard to date and do normal things.”
The star’s new podcast show will be available on all platforms, including Apple, Spotify and Amazon Music, starting May 23.
Also appearing in the group are award-winning filmmaker and photographer Doug Allan, Michelin star chef Andy Beynon and bestselling author Chris Brookmyre.
