A loyal Chick-fil-A customer has slammed the fast-food establishment after incurring an unexpected charge added to his meal, declaring that the chain is “getting out of control” and should “count its days.”
In a video with over 240,000 views, TikTok user Aylin Avci (@_staylina) reveals that he was charged a 10-cent baggage fee on his last order, which was just a simple box of chips and a drink.
“I order on my phone, right? Just fries. Just fries and a drink,” he explained in the video.
“Why the hell did they charge me for the bag?” she continued, sounding indignant.
Aylin continued her impassioned speech, desperately asking how much the network will charge next.

“Are you going to charge me for chips? Are you going to charge me to park in your parking lot?” he raged.
Aylin also criticized the restaurant for changes made to its in-app rewards program a few years ago.
“I’m at the top level,” he explained. “Why the hell did they change it?”
The chicken enthusiast said that when she first became “obsessed” with Chick-fil-A, it was much easier to earn enough points for a free drink.
“But now it’s taking me 100 fucking years to earn a free drink,” he complained.

The fast food lover then urged everyone to start looking at their receipts.

“Guys, start looking at your receipts,” he said. “Try to see if you’re being charged for your bags… I’m told that the stores you shop at prohibit bags. But this is food.
“What am I supposed to do? Come out with a full glass?” he asked.
‘So what now? Do we have to go out and kill the chicken ourselves?’ Aylin added.
Aylin had previously posted a video about Chick-fil-A that went viral, after noticing that the meat tasted different.
“They literally changed the chicken,” he said passionately. “And it’s the most disgusting chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life.”
In a comment, Aylin mentioned that the price of her favorite foods has also increased.
“The food I was used to was $8 max… then when they changed it was $12 more,” she wrote.
TikTok users have weighed in, and many agree that the price has gotten out of hand.
“It costs over $65 to feed my husband, three kids and myself at Chick-fil-A and they don’t even give me a meal, they just give me a sandwich. That’s restaurant money, not fast food money,” one user commented.
“YES! We’re not going there anymore. It’s exorbitantly expensive to feed a family of six and to top it off, the chicken tastes awful and the amount of chips is a real shame,” another agreed.
Another suggested that the cost of the bag may vary from state to state.
“You must live in a state that has a reusable bag law. I just looked at all my receipts on the app and there is no fee for bags. I’m in Texas,” they wrote.
Single-use plastic bags have been banned in Pennsylvania, where Aylin appears to live, since January 2024.
The regulation requires retailers to charge a fee of at least $0.10 for compliant paper and reusable bags.
