A mother has spoken of her anguish after her 17-year-old daughter took her own life.

‘We tried so hard for so many years. “Children are just cruel, they just don’t understand that what they say hurts people,” said Mrs Skeet.

‘The mental health system is a joke too. We have been in and out of psychologists and public counselors and each time they have disappointed her.

The heartbroken mother hopes Bailey’s bullies will attend her funeral to help them understand the impact of her actions, but said her daughter was still being mocked online even after her death.

“They need to understand the consequences of their words and actions,” he said.

Mrs. Skeet has created a fundraising to help pay for his funeral.

‘Who knew a wooden box and a celebration to remember your one beautiful broken soul would cost so much.

“I never imagined that I or we as a family would be in a position to ask for help like this…but here we are!”
