People have branded a woman “ungrateful” after she claimed a stranger gave her money to buy lunch but then complained it wasn’t enough.

Ary Nicole, a nurse from Birmingham, Alabama, took her Tik Tok page to shame the man she claims approached her on Instagram and said, ‘let me send you money for lunch.’

After accepting the offer, he sent the man, who he believed to be a fan, his Cash App tag expecting “at least 100 balls” or $100, but was surprised to receive only $30.

She criticized the man for apparently being inconsiderate of her needs, specifically because he wouldn’t cover “half a tank” of gas in his car or “bring me two drinks.”

However, viewers felt otherwise and called the content creator “ungrateful,” while one person said the money was “more than enough” and even more ordered him to return it.

Ary explained: “So today this guy wrote to me on Instagram and said ‘let me send you lunch money’ and I was like ‘okay’ and I wrote back and said ‘send it.’

After the pair exchanged relevant details, Ary said, “I knew I was going to open my Cash App and I was going to have at least a hundred balls, you know what I’m saying?”

She continued: ‘Because I eat and that’s what I spend on my food. I opened my Cash app and this man sent £30, yes.

She paused momentarily to regain her composure after becoming visibly irritated by the ordeal.

At this point, she briefly seemed introspective as she asked viewers, ‘Damn, am I being ungrateful?’ I’m screwed for feeling why the hell would you send me $30?

He soon went on to detail some of the ways the money was deficient: ‘I say no, because $30 isn’t even half a tank in my car. That you thought? Was I going to go to Chick-fil-A?

Shedding light on her luxury lifestyle, she revealed exactly why the amount wouldn’t cover her lunch bill.

She said: “When I go out to eat, I eat full dishes, like I order an appetizer, a main dish, a dessert and a drink – I can’t even get two drinks with that.”

The nurse, from Birmingham, Alabama, expressed her displeasure when a man sent her $30 for lunch, when she was expecting at least $100.

The nurse explained how the unnamed man then asked: “Let me meet you.”

He called the man “silly” for thinking he would grant his request after sending him only $30.

Although she admitted that in matters like this “it’s the thought that counts,” she also explained that since she spent more than that on herself, it was inappropriate for a man to spend less.

He concluded by telling viewers, “I’m not one of them.”

The publication of the video unleashed a fiery discourse about dating etiquette, to the point that it attracted more than 8,000 comments and 700,000 views.

People seemed totally incredulous at the woman’s position and called her ungrateful. One person wrote: ‘It’s being ungrateful… Send him back then.’

Another added: “$30 for lunch is more than enough.” A third agreed, saying: “Yeah, $30 from a complete stranger was more than enough, especially for lunch.”

Someone else said: “Some people are so entitled it’s sick.” ‘So, you returned the $30 because it wasn’t enough?’ asked one.

Meanwhile one person asked: ‘Why are you talking about gas? It was money for lunch.’

However, one person agreed: ‘I’m not mad at her, I went to lunch and spent $85 just on me.’
