Katie Price has revealed that both her mother and stepfather have been hospitalized while giving a health update on her parents on Wednesday.
The former glamor model, 46, said her mother, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal lung disease, in 2017, was admitted earlier this month.
In the candid chat during a TikTok live, Katie also shared how her stepfather, Paul, who she calls dad, just underwent a major operation.
“My mother is fine; she was in the hospital for 21 days,” he explained.
‘My dad just had heart surgery… you have to take care of them when they get older. So there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.’

Recently, Katie told her fans that she is kicking a “disrespectful” habit due to her mother’s ongoing health issues.
Posting on Instagram, the mother of five announced that she will stop vaping after a year of habit.
She cited her mother Amy’s battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal lung disease, as the reason behind her decision.
‘I have a big confession to make, and if there is anyone who wants to join me, please do so.
“I’ve been vaping for a year and it’s not good for you, especially when my mom had a lung transplant. It’s disrespectful to do this in front of my mom,” he told the camera.
“I have decided that today is the day I will throw away this horrible, addictive, chemical battery. Starting today I will no longer vape.”
‘I have the strength to get rid of them. Join me. It goes in the trash, that’s all. I got all my vapes out of the car and stuff.
Last year, Amy underwent a lung transplant. When Amy was diagnosed, doctors told her she had a life expectancy of up to five years.

“I’ve been vaping for a year and it’s not good for you, especially when my mom had a lung transplant. It’s disrespectful to do this in front of my mom,” he told the camera.
Giving an update on his health in November, he told the Daily Star: “It’s a slow process and it’s taken a while.” I have had quite a few setbacks but that is to be expected but I am heading in the right direction.
‘The problem is that when you have a lung transplant it is very easy to sit down because you are still a little short of breath, but if I don’t exercise, I can’t move forward.
“I had a single lung transplant, but it stopped working, so I have to exercise for it to work.”
Amy explained how the disease “robs people of their breath and their lives,” while Katie stressed the importance of raising awareness as worrying data shows it is on the rise.
