Wild video captured the moment an Ohio woman brutally destroyed a Halloween display in front of a home whose owners had just lost their son.
Christina Horvath, 48, was arrested in connection with the 30-minute rampage that occurred Oct. 7 in broad daylight.
Horvath allegedly caused $1,000 worth of damage to the Zellers’ Toledo home, but the broken decorations the Zellers had made with their son who died in a motorcycle accident were priceless.
“Honestly, I cried like a baby,” Shannon Zeller told KBTX. “I felt bad about the memories that are attached to some of the items she broke.”

Christina Horvath, 48, was arrested in connection with the 30-minute rampage that occurred Oct. 7 in broad daylight.
Footage taken by neighbors allegedly shows Horvath raining destruction on the Zellers’ holiday display.
In the clips you can see eye-catching decorative tombs and fake cobwebs with a metal rod.
She can then be seen feverishly picking up plastic skeletons and throwing them into the street.
At another moment, the woman savagely hits the small Gothic fence that the family built around the patio.
“I cried like a baby, honestly,” Shannon Zeller said when she discovered the decorations she had made with her late son were destroyed.

The 48-year-old then gets clever, wielding a plastic coffin and using it to hit other decorations.
In one of the clips, he appears to have reached such a frantic state that he trips over some of the fake spider webs and collapses to the ground.
Concerned neighbors quickly notified the Zellers that someone was wasting their beloved Halloween display.
“They said someone was in our yard and destroying all of our decorations,” Zeller said.
The family is not clear what caused the attack. The Zellers had never met Horvath, whose attack reportedly lasted 30 minutes and caused extensive damage.

‘We can’t put a dollar amount on some (of the decorations) because we made them.
‘We have handmade things that we made with our children. Unfortunately we lost our son in a motorcycle accident. There are many memories here.’
Christina Horvath now faces charges of criminal damage and theft as she was recorded smuggling different items of property in her car.
Just two weeks before the incident, she was booked into the Lucas County Jail after she allegedly threw a rock through the windshield of a vehicle.
The Zellers don’t know what led Horvath to attack their property, but they hope he receives proper medical care.
‘I don’t know what it was. “There was speculation, but I hope he gets the treatment he needs,” Shannon said.

The family is taking the situation in stride and are now trying to repair the damage to the exhibit.
Next to a skeleton sitting on a wrecking ball, the Zellers placed a sign that read: ‘She came in like a wrecking ball,’ evoking Miley Cyrus’ famous music video.
‘I said, “Well, what can I do to leave it alone and make it fun and make it light?”
“I hope everyone else can see that we were just making light of a sad situation.”
