The singer, 42, issued a statement on Instagram on Friday and said she wants to focus on her solo career.

She said: ’26 incredible years, writing so many wonderful chapters, but now the time has come to close the book with this one.

‘The journey hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I have laughed and cried many times with the girls, experienced many surreal moments and have been blessed with a career spanning 26 years; It has been amazing and something I will always cherish.

‘Since 2013, Liz and I have been on the nostalgia train, and we’ve been performing non-stop since (aside from the global pandemic), where we come back even stronger, with more demand for our infectious pop songs.
