Greg Rutherford’s fiancée Susie Verrill mocked her fellow Olympian’s social media post, revealing it was “disgusting” her.
The 37-year-old gold medalist long jumper took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a post about Meta AI not having permission to use his personal data.
But Susie went on to criticise her husband-to-be for sharing the post, as she claimed it gave the impression of “I would give all my money to a Nigerian prince who posted me on Facebook”.
“Guys, @gregjrutherford reposted this earlier and won’t take it down,” the blogger and writer wrote. “It disgusts me.”
Susie also joked: “Should I go now? We’ve had a good run, to be fair. The kids will understand.”

Greg and Susie, who share children Milo, nine, Rex, six, and Daphne, two, met in 2012 and got engaged in 2019.
The couple were due to tie the knot in May 2023, but tragically postponed the big day after a loved one passed away.
Earlier this month, Greg revealed the promise he made to Susie while discussing his brutal Dancing On Ice injury and adjusting to life after retirement.
The Olympic gold medallist, who decided to hang up his trainers in 2018, spoke of the mental struggles athletes face when they step away from their sport and how he felt like a “liability” when a manoeuvre in competition went “horribly wrong”.
Greg admitted that the lack of “the pressure of performing live” led him to “beat up” his body in the TV accident.
In an interview with MailOnline, he explained: “I don’t miss doing what I did. I’ve had a lot more success with my career than I ever thought I would have, so I’m very proud to have done all that, but I don’t miss the idea of training for it.
“Maybe the audience, I miss the show. I think that may be the reason why I’ve done different shows over the years, so I understand that side, the pressure of performing live.”
He added: “For athletes that’s where it’s difficult because when that stops there’s a real adaptation phase that comes with it.

Greg suffered a brutal injury that left him with two herniated discs and a torn abdominal muscle after jumping between the legs of professional Colin Grafton during a stunt on Dancing On Ice.
“That’s why traveling is so important, because it helps you realize the importance of getting out and reconnecting with people. You can get stuck in a rut.”
The long jump champion went on to star in Strictly Come Dancing in 2016 and Dancing on Ice earlier this year but was forced to pull out.

The strange incident left him on the ice for 10 minutes afterwards. ‘effectively performing a Caesarean section’, undergoing surgery in March.
She continued: “The surgery was four months ago and I’m still recovering. It was a shock to the system. I went from feeling really good to losing all of that. My body was in tatters.
“What I have to take into account is that I’m older, so my recovery time is much slower. I’m not recovering like I used to. You don’t feel the same as you used to.”
“I promised Susie I wouldn’t do anything else. I wasn’t discouraged, but I realized I’m not the only one who cares about me, and while I might want to try harder, Susie had to take care of me for a week.
He admitted: “I’ve just promised Susie I won’t do anything else. It hasn’t put me off, but it’s an eye-opener. My body was wrecked.”
“You become a big burden, you have to take that into account. Now I am more aware of everyone around me.”
Speaking about future challenges ahead as he looks for new ways to keep busy, he admitted: “I’d like to do different challenges for charity. As for TV, I’m not sure what’s left for me. I’ve done most of them already, I’m sure everyone is bored of seeing my face!”
‘The problem with some reality shows is that you’re involved for so long that you can’t do anything else.
“I like challenges. I’m thinking of running a marathon,” he said, before joking that he was looking forward to “trying to relax,” at least until after Christmas.
