She may not call Australia home anymore, but there are some things about her homeland that Tammin Sursok simply can't do without.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the 41-year-old former Home and Away star admitted to having a passion for coffee – so much so that she’s willing to travel the world to get her hands on a decent cup.

Tammin, who is based in Nashville, Tennessee, shared a clip, filmed from her point of view, of her hand reaching out as if to receive a cup.

The clip showed her at an airport boarding a flight with her “coffee” hand held firmly in place.

The actress then landed in Australia and walked through the streets of Sydney with her hand still raised.

She then walked into a coffee shop and grabbed a to-go cup that was waiting for her on the counter.

“I just flew 9,208 miles to Australia,” Tammin superimposed over the images.

“More than 20 hours of travel to finally get a good cup of coffee.”

Tammin praised the quality of Australian coffee.

‘Guys, you gotta do what you gotta do! Australian coffee is second to none. Do you agree?’

Tammin’s followers were in complete agreement with her assessment.

“I just moved to LA and I miss Aussie coffee! Send me some help/Aussie coffee,” one fan pleaded.

Another commented something similar: “In Melbourne and everywhere I go, no one does it better than here. It’s one of the main reasons I hate travelling – I don’t enjoy coffee.”

One dejected fan has expressed disappointment that Tammin’s first classic Down Under wasn’t another Australian classic.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the former Home and Away star, 41, admitted to having a rabid passion for coffee.

“I was hoping it was a Bunnings sausage in a bun,” they wrote, prompting laughter from Tammin.

The post comes after Tammin recently revealed outrageous behaviour on a first date which she deemed “disgusting”.

The Logie award winner was speaking to TV presenter Scott Tweedie on his podcast The S**t Show, when she mentioned a disastrous dinner party she had when she was younger.

“I always made my own money, but I found this very unpleasant: I had a man who, when he received the check, took out a fluorescent marker in two different colors and detailed the invoice,” she said.

Her date then started pointing out what she ate and what he ate to add up the price of each of them.

“He was the blue highlighter and I was the pink one,” she said.

‘(It was detailed) down to the penny, we’re talking 0.68 and at the time, I’ll be honest, I probably expected (whether that was right or wrong) that the guy would pick up the check.’
