Angel Reese continues to have a noteworthy rookie season with the Chicago Sky: On Thursday, he recorded another double-double, adding 16 points and 18 rebounds as the Sky beat the Dallas Wings 83-72.

More importantly, Thursday’s win marked Reese’s seventh consecutive double-double, making her the only rookie to accomplish such a feat.

Reese’s 18 rebounds also mark a career-high for her in her young WNBA career. Reese scored a career-high 20 points last week in a loss to the Connecticut Suns, her fourth consecutive double-double.

With this milestone, Reese surpasses Tina Charles and Cindy Brown for most consecutive games with a double-double, and continues to make a name for herself in her rookie campaign.

Reese is proving to be an invaluable member of his team on both ends of the floor, averaging 12.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists so far this season.

The young forward also appears to be taking inspiration from other Chicago legends, appearing before the game in a Michael Jordan themed top.

With Thursday’s win, the Sky is currently 5-9 and in ninth place in the league. On Sunday, Chicago has another highly anticipated matchup against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, who easily defeated the Sky on Monday.
