You never know who will become an instant celebrity in baseball. This was the case Tuesday night at Chase Field, when the game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers was delayed two hours due to a bee invasion.

Enter bee control specialist Matt Hilton.

Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discuss what became a viral moment when Hilton eradicated the bees collecting in the net behind home plate, leading to Hilton earning the honor of throwing out the first pitch before the game.

Also on this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast, the guys talk about the suddenly rising Minnesota Twins and their 10-game winning streak, coming to grips with the fact that Mike Trout is plagued by injuries at this point in his career and the The Tampa Bay Rays launch their City Connect uniforms to rave reviews.

Jake and Jordan then do a baseball rankings lottery, where they try to predict which team will keep its spot in the division standings when the season ends. The guys also give the good, the bad and Uggla for this week, that includes the wearing of Pete Crow-Armstrong’s helmet, the return of Kyle Bradish to the mound and much more.
