Zara recently revealed to her followers what it is like to live with her partner Sam.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 30 and since her diagnosis, she has teamed up with ADHD UK to positively change what it means to live with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
During an Instagram Q&A earlier this month, a follower asked Zara: ‘How do you find living with someone with ADHD? I have it and I wonder how my partner feels x’.
Zara then honestly revealed to the follower that she “loves Sam for who he is” and stated that “we all have our quirks and individuality, neurodivergent or not.”
She said: ‘At the end of the day, we all have our quirks and individuality, neurodivergent or not! (love heart emoji) I don’t like to think that I would be any different as a person/couple if I were with someone who didn’t have ADHD.
‘And I don’t really see him as separate from my partner, he’s just part of my partner and I totally love him for who he is!’
He continued: ‘Perhaps you could argue that sometimes I have to be quite patient; People probably think Sam is bouncing off the walls all the time at home, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!’
“He’s always more relaxed at home, I’d say I probably have more energy than him when we’re at home together.”
‘His job constantly requires so much energy that I think time at home is his “recharge” time (laughing emoji)’
“I like to let him have his own time in the evenings, as that is very important for him with his neurodivergence.”
‘Often he just needs a little reset of the world, which is totally fine and I’ve never made him feel like that’s not fine, because it totally is! (love heart emojis)’
The news comes after Zara put on a stunning display when she attended the Pride Of Britain Awards in a stunning black and silver ballgown last month.
