Australian sports fans were elated after a fan captured the moment Matildas star Mary Fowler greeted her beaming boyfriend Nathan Cleary at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Monday night.
The NRL superstar, 26, was accompanied by his mother Rebecca as Tony Gustavsson’s team beat China 2-0 in their final knock before the Paris Olympics in July.
He tiktok clip – which has had almost 95,000 visits – was called “we love a supportive king”.
Gustavsson was impressed with the collective desire his team showed in front of a crowd of 76,798.
“We were very aggressive and offensive-minded,” she said after goals from Clare Wheeler and Hayley Raso in the second half.
