An iconic moment from the Netflix Beckham documentary has reportedly been nominated for a TV BAFTA.
The series, which aired last October, saw David, 48, and Victoria, 49, give an intimate insight into their marriage and early romance, their family life, as well as charting David’s football career.
One particular moment went viral after its release – when Victoria said she was from a ‘working class’ family, before David pointed out that her dad actually used to drive her to school in a Rolls-Royce.
The hilarious scene spawned a ton of memes and became the talk of the hit series.
Now it has been nominated in the ‘Memorable Moments’ category at the TV Baftas along with five other entries.

The moment will go up against the end of Happy Valley, Ncuti Gatwa’s arrival in Doctor Who, Logan Roy’s death sequel, teenage Lucy’s appearance on Channel 4’s The Piano and the story of Bill and Frank in zombie drama The Last of Us.
This was told by a TV insider The sun: ‘Posh and Becks’ documentary Beckham faces stiff competition, but given how many viewers watched the show on Netflix, it might just triumph on the back of people power.
“And the fact that they are in such esteemed company among the incredible nominees just goes to show what a big impression it made.
‘There were some incredible TV moments during 2023, but the Beckham family can count on fans to back them in the vote. It’s the only category where the public gets to have their say.’
Following the success of the moment, the couple appeared in an Uber Eats ad, with Victoria wearing a T-shirt that read “My dad had a Rolls-Royce”.
In a segment talking about growing up, Victoria said: ‘We both come from very hard working families, we’re very working class’.
Hearing the interview from another room, David poked his head around the corner and said, “Be honest!” before an excited Victoria replied: ‘I’m honest!’
David then asked her: ‘Which car did your father drive you to school in?’

She then began to answer, saying: ‘So my father did…’ before cutting her off, saying: ‘It just needs an answer!’
Posh then replied that it was ‘not a simple answer’ before again asking her what car it was.
She then said: ‘It depends, but yes in the 80s my father had a Rolls Royce!’ – before David replied ‘thank you’ and then left.
It comes after Victoria flashed her underwear in a sheer white dress earlier on Wednesday as she posed for a racy Instagram snap with her crutches.
The fashion designer gave fans a sneak peek at her upcoming spring/summer clothing collection as she modeled a beautiful see-through ensemble.
The mum-of-four remains active in the gym and at work despite breaking her foot last month due to a gym injury.
With her toned legs and washboard abs, Victoria packed a bag for the sexy mirror selfie.

The former Spice Girl is not letting her broken foot get in the way of her fitness as she has continued to train.
Victoria has recently started to get a little frustrated with her leg brace as she expressed: ‘I’m tired of you now’.
Earlier this week, Victoria slipped into a black crop top and high-waisted leggings in the sizzling mirror selfie.
Victoria also shared the crucial routine she does to rest and recover – with a glass of red wine and red light therapy.
The post comes after David carried Victoria at her Paris Fashion Week last week as she struggled to walk on her crutches.
Former footballer David said he was ‘so proud’ of Victoria after she refused to let her injury or protesters spoil her big night.
He wrote: ‘So proud of you for many reasons but this season threw a lot at you and again you just did what you do best. we love you @victoriabeckham’.
Victoria landed in Paris on crutches as a result of a recent gymnastics injury in which she hurt her ankle.

But she didn’t let that stop her as she was supported by David and her children Brooklyn, 24, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12.
In a jokey snap, David piggy-backed Victoria as she held a bottle of champagne as Victoria thanked him for his support while referencing her injury.
She wrote: ‘Always support me (literally) I love you so much x kiss x’.
The family were also joined by Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, but the couple’s middle son Romeo, 21, was notably absent in the wake of his divorced from boyfriend Mia Regan.
