Tyreek Hill has jokingly questioned whether teammate Tua Tagovailoa is on Ozempic, as he claimed the now-slimmed Dolphins quarterback was “fat ass” last season at the team’s organized team activities (OTAs). on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters at Miami’s practice facility, Hill, 30, was asked about his caller’s unrecognizable appearance as multiple outlets report that Tagovailoa lost 25 pounds this offseason.
To put it in context, Tagovailoa’s weight is listed at 227 pounds on the Dolphins’ website. He is also six foot one.
‘What I’m seeing in Tua, man… I’m not going to lie… I saw Tua at the Pro Bowl… I was a little scared. He was fat as shit,” Hill said at first.
‘How skinny did he get, what is everyone taking… Ozempic?’ …I had to be taking that.’
Tyreek Hill didn’t hold back when talking about Tua Tagovailoa’s weight on Tuesday, describing his quarterback as “fat as shit” last season.
Fellow Dolphins receiver Jaylen Waddle also poked fun at Tagovailoa’s dramatic body transformation.

Meanwhile, Tagovailoa said he lost weight simply by adopting a new route and reducing his consumption of sweets.

Tagovailoa also expressed his lack of concern about his contractual situation, although he would prefer it to be resolved as soon as possible. The 26-year-old was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by Miami, but has only played in one playoff game since then, a wild-card loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
Tagovailoa is entering the final year of his contract and will play with a $23.1 million fifth-year option in 2024.
