Triple H offered his honest opinion on Logan Paul’s in-ring performance at WrestleMania 40 through somewhat gritted teeth on Sunday night.
The former YouTuber won his triple threat match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday thanks to the help of IShowSpeed.
The new WWE superstar had to fight his way through the opening salvo of his two enemies as they plotted against him.
But his final triumph earned him an assessment from WWE boss Triple H in his post-event press conference.
“Congratulations to Logan Paul on another epic outing,” said Triple H, whose real name is Paul Levesque.

Paul fought in a threat match against Randy Orton (pictured left) and Kevin Owens.
“You get in the ring with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens and you put on that kind of performance, whether you come out as champion or not, what a performance.
‘He’s just a guy that every time he goes out, he shows why his choice to be here in WWE and not do the other things he did before has cemented him as a WWE superstar. He’s so good.’
However, it seemed to pain Triple H to lavish Paul with such praise given his meteoric rise to WWE stardom.
“Sometimes I find it hard to think about how good he is, considering he’s only done this a handful of times,” he confessed. ‘It’s crazy.’
Paul won his match thanks to the help of his friend IShowSpeed, who paid the price for his intervention.
The YouTube star was dressed as the PRIME mascot during the US title match, but revealed who he was after saving Paul from taking a punt from Orton.
After barking at Orton, for some reason, IShowSpeed would push the Apex Predator away. The WWE legend responded by kicking the mascot and putting him on the commentary table to apply an RKO.
Orton would also turn a pop-up powerbomb attempt by Owens into another RKO, but then Paul would swoop in to throw him into the ring post, nail a top rope frog splash on the still prone Owens, and retain his title.
Eventually, Owens and Orton’s competitive instincts ensured they also went to battle and Paul set about choosing their spots.

The brass knuckles almost provided the path to victory for Paul once again, but Orton was able to thwart him in the final minute.
Speed, revealing himself to be the PRIME mascot, sent the match into the final stretch. Opportunistically, Paul took advantage of Orton’s good work to secure the biggest victory of his young career.
Paul’s business partner KSI appeared dressed as the mascot previously, but very few people would have predicted Speed for the role.
Speed, a 19-year-old American, has 23.5 million subscribers on YouTube and more than 16 million followers on Instagram.
