According to police, Scott was involved in “an altercation on a yacht” in which there was “fighting” between people. Scott’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told DailyMail.com that the fight was verbal in nature and “there was absolutely no physical altercation involved.”
Ten officers approached the boat and found Scott “standing next to the dock and yelling at the occupants of the boat,” according to the affidavit.
They attempted to calm the situation by asking Scott to sit down, but he repeatedly stood up and ignored their orders, according to the file.
Police said Scott had a “strong odor of alcohol” on his breath and was warned by Sgt. Lemus to leave the dock or face arrest.
“During the entire long walk from the boat to the boardwalk, the defendant walked backwards yelling obscenities at the occupants of the boat,” the affidavit reads.
Scott eventually returned to his vehicle and ordered one of his security guards to get out of the truck so they could not leave the scene.
He then appeared to threaten his own security guard, telling officers that “if he gets in the vehicle, he’s going to fade away,” meaning he’ll get into a fight.
The rapper eventually agreed to the officers’ request to leave, but five minutes later he turned around and returned to cause more chaos.
Scott ‘began yelling once again, becoming erratic, disturbing the peace of the occupants of the marina and nearby residential buildings, causing a public disturbance,’ according to police.
