Trader Joe’s has brought back a fan-favorite chocolate that shoppers have called “addictive.”
Consumers can once again find the ever-popular Chocolate Glazed Donuts on supermarket shelves.
Fans of the tiny baked goods celebrated their return on Reddit.
“Oh my god help me,” one user wrote under a post about the pink-packaged snack’s return.
These delicious snacks are made with a mixture of tapioca starch, rice flour and cornstarch before being covered in a sugary glaze.
Chocolate glazed donuts have returned to Trader Joe’s to the delight of shoppers.
Trader Joe’s has also brought back a variety of other tasty desserts this summer.
They have 240 calories per serving and are dairy-free and gluten-free.
Also on Reddit, another fan wrote: ‘DAIRY FREE AND GLUTEN FREE!?!?! Calm down sweetheart! I might have to make a trip to get some!’
Another fan said the donuts give them “nostalgic comfort from receiving these types of donuts as gifts when they were kids.”
“The texture is PERFECT, moist, fluffy and totally reminds me of my gluten-free days,” wrote one gluten-free TikTok user on the platform.
Trader Joe’s has also brought back other tasty desserts this summer, including Celebration Cake Gelato and the much-loved Horchata Ice Cream.
The cake is made with cake batter-flavored ice cream, cake pieces and sprinkles. It’s currently on Trader Joe’s shelves for $3.79.
The horchata ice cream has a cinnamon and rice flour base with horchata-flavored cookie pieces. A pint also costs $3.79.
Every year, Trader Joe’s reveals its Customer Choice Awards, and this year it revealed some unexpected winners for the first time.
For the past 15 years, the California-based grocery chain has invited shoppers to vote for their favorite Trader Joe’s products in several categories.
The standout winner of the 15th Annual Customer Choice Awards was Chili-Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips, which triumphed over other beloved products of the year.
Surprisingly, this year the popular mandarin chicken did not take first place in any category.
That’s because Trader Joe’s decided to exclude its five extremely popular products, which had won numerous times over the past few years, making them ineligible for consideration as of last year.
Instead, this year’s overall winner was the chili-lime-flavored rolled corn tortilla chips, triumphing over other beloved products of the year.
