A mother has been criticised on social media after sharing a video of her set-up at a campsite in Devon, with viewers left baffled by the wide range of amenities including a TV, toaster and wardrobe.
Jodie Louise took to TikTok to share a clip of her £690 pitch at a campsite in Dawlish Warren, Devon, showing off the well-equipped and comfortable family tent.
However, many baffled commentators have questioned the family’s choice of holiday, asking why they opted to camp rather than “go all-in”.
In the video, which has already been viewed three million times, the mother showed off her home, revealing three tent segments including a kitchen with a toaster, grill and kettle, a living room with an inflatable sofa and a double bedroom with a portable wardrobe.
“We just arrived in Devon this year,” he said, showing the inside of the big top.

British mum Jodie Louise, pictured, hit back at critics who were baffled by the sprawling camp set up in Devon.
The video also showed a table complete with comfortable sofa-style camping chairs, a shoe rack and inflatable privacy screens.
The family arrived fully prepared for their holiday in the south of England, packing a zip-top wardrobe with several compartments and a hanging rail – not forgetting the appropriate hangers.
She was joined on the trip by Jodie’s partner and their two children.
In response to the backlash, the vacationing mom has made a series of response videos justifying the well-equipped camp.
She said she and her family were staying at Lady’s Mile Holiday Park in south Devon, which has several luxury stays in static caverns and an on-site swimming pool, play areas, a games room, a bar and restaurant, and even a gym and spa.
The campsite’s luxurious facilities also offer entertainment for children, including “really funny pantomimes”.
Viewers of the video took to the comments to express their confusion. One wrote: “The whole point of camping is to get away from home…” while another said: “You might as well rent a camper van.”
A third viewer was also amazed by the impressive array of amenities, writing: “OMG! I could be abroad in an all-inclusive hotel in the time it takes to set this up! Even though it looks beautiful!”
Another suggested taking a “plane to Spain”, after Jodie revealed it took the family two hours to complete preparations for the holiday.
In the video, which has already been viewed three million times, the mum scanned a view of the huge setting, revealing three tent segments including a kitchen with a toaster, grill and kettle, a living room with an inflatable sofa and a double bedroom with a portable wardrobe.
A later video from the trip revealed that the family had found time to turn on the TV during their camping vacation.

Several viewers expressed confusion in the comments about the well-equipped tent pitch, with one saying they could have opted for an all-inclusive option.
A later video from the trip revealed that the family had found time to turn on the TV during their camping holiday.
“A quick video of the boxing while we were camping… Good signal and all the boys,” his partner said, showing a cozy setting with the family enjoying the television.
Another video revealed that Jodie had not only packed a fully-equipped kitchen, but also other household luxuries such as a “camping mat” and a cordless vacuum cleaner.
‘A lot of people have commented on my video saying “it’s like you’ve got a vacuum cleaner and the closet is camping.”
“Why wouldn’t you want to hang your clothes while camping? Why wouldn’t you want to vacuum your carpet? You have a vacuum cleaner at home and we have a suitable camping mat there.
“How else would you clean it? We use a cheap vacuum cleaner, I don’t think it’s a big deal.”
‘Someone also said: Why do you carry a laundry basket? Where would you put your dirty clothes if you didn’t carry a laundry basket?
“It’s like some people have no common sense,” he said, responding to his numerous critics.
This comes after the shocking news earlier this month that a group of travellers attempted a far less legal and less glamorous camping trip after trying to enter a London park.
The incident was captured on phone footage taken by a concerned MailOnline reader who noticed what they were doing.
Pictured: The family even brought along a shoe rack. Jodie said she and her family were staying at Lady’s Mile Holiday Park in South Devon, which features several luxury stays in static caverns and an on-site swimming pool, play areas, a games room, a bar and restaurant, and even a gym and spa.
The video also showed a table complete with comfortable sofa-style camping chairs, a shoe rack and inflatable privacy screens.
In response to her critics, Jodie couldn’t understand what all the fuss was about. “It’s like some people don’t have any common sense,” she said, responding to her many critics.
The group were attempting to breach a height restriction gate at Arnos Park, near Southgate, north London, which had been put in place following previous incursions by commuters in recent years.
The footage shows two men working on the door’s locking mechanism for some time before successfully opening it.
At one point a woman’s voice is heard warning them “they’re filming you,” but the couple continued to open the gates, allowing five vehicles towing caravans to enter the park.
Another resident of the posh suburb, where terraced houses can cost up to £1m, commented on the incident: “It’s really selfish as his presence in the park ruins it for the residents.
There is a playground and tennis and bowling courts for seniors, but no one wants to use them when there are travelers.
“Their presence is intimidating. And there’s always a huge mess when they leave, with tyre tracks ruining the grass etc. This is the second time they’ve done this in a month. The council really needs to get its act together and do something.”
An Enfield Council spokesman confirmed the family of travellers had now moved out, adding: “The council was working with them to resolve the issue.”
