Caitlin Clark is still a week away from her likely No. 1 pick in the WNBA Draft for the Indiana Fever. That hasn’t stopped tickets for her possible professional debut from skyrocketing in price.
The Indiana Fever’s first road game of the season against the Connecticut Sun has tickets topping out at over $900, with a pair of tickets costing $9,418 each.
The most expensive seat is in Section 122, Row E, high above the court.
The contest on May 14, a Tuesday night, has dozens of $500-plus tickets available for a great chance to see Clark’s WNBA debut in person.
While Clark is probably the top pick, there’s no guarantee Indiana will select her, and talents like Angel Reese are also hoping to hear their name called first.
Clark has been linked with being the No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA Draft for several months.
The Connecticut Sun would be Clark’s first WNBA opponent if she were selected by the Fever.
The Sun’s second game on May 17, at home against the Washington Mystics, has hundreds of tickets available for under $50.
Clark set many records during her final collegiate season at Iowa, including becoming the NCAA’s all-time leading overall scorer.
Along with Reese, Paige Bueckers and others, Clark has sparked interest in women’s college basketball.
Interest in Clark does not appear to have diminished with her arrival in the WNBA.
All that has to happen now is for the Fever to select Clark in the WNBA Draft next Monday.
