Jenna Ortega and Sigourney Weaver arrived in Venice ahead of the city’s annual Film Festival, which kicks off Wednesday.
Jenna, who stars in the Beetlejuice sequel which will open the festival, looked gorgeous in a pleated miniskirt and checked blazer as she arrived at the 81st Venice Film Festival.
Her on-screen mother in the film, Winona Ryder, who reprises her role as Lydia, was also seen arriving, but hid her face under a visor.
Meanwhile, Sigourney cheerfully greeted her fans, looking chic in a pair of wide-leg white trousers and a sailor hat.

“Receiving this award is a privilege I share with all the filmmakers and collaborators I have worked with over the years. I proudly accept this award to honor all those who have helped bring these films to life.”
The 81st Venice International Film Festival is organised by the Biennale di Venezia and will take place at the Lido di Venezia from 28 August to 7 September 2024.
In addition to Sigourney and the cast of Beetlejuice, a number of celebrities are expected to arrive in Venice in the coming days.
George Clooney is already in town, alongside his wife Amal, for the debut of his highly anticipated new film Wolfs, the Jon Watts-directed heist thriller that reunites him with his Oceans 11 co-star Brad Pitt.
Both George and Brad will be attending the September 1 screening.

Venice regulars Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton are in town for Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language debut The Room Next Door, while Nicole Kidman will screen her erotic thriller Babygirl on August 30.
Pupi Avati’s The American Backyard will close the festival on September 7.
