Scheana Shay’s vacation to London in early July hit an unfortunate mishap after a King’s Guard horse tried to bite her.
The 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules star joined the ranks of tourists who have gotten too close to horses, as documented on TikTok on Wednesday.
The horse, which was parked outside Buckingham Palace, had a sign clearly visible next to it that read: ‘BE CAREFUL — Horses may kick or bite. — Do not touch the horse.
The video shows Scheana strutting up to the beautiful dark brown steed and turning back to look at the camera.
But when she turned around, her high ponytail appeared to brush against the horse, which may have set it off.

A TikTok video captured her approaching the fountain just as it bared its teeth and took a quick bite on her exposed arm.
Scheana looked like she was going to walk away unsmiling for the photo, but the horse quickly interrupted her by lunging to the side and nipping at her arm, which was exposed by the sleeves of her black minidress.
The reality star staggered forward and had a surprised expression on her face that was evident despite her oversized sunglasses.
She let out a small yelp as she backed away from the horse, but the bite was modest enough that she began to giggle nervously at her companions as she quickly walked away.
As usual, the Royal Guard member on horseback did not acknowledge the nearby encounter.
The video was posted by the account @kingsguardlondonsiteswhich has captured numerous tourists being bitten or hit by the horses of the King’s Guard.
Scheana appears to have landed on the account’s page weeks after her trip to London, and it’s unclear whether the original post’s author knew she was a public figure.
Around the same time Scheana was bitten, another tourist had a much more serious run-in with a King’s Guard horse.
A video from the event showed a woman wearing a Pink Floyd T-shirt approaching the horse for a photo after it appeared agitated and had been seen nipping at other people around it.
Scheana appeared to spin so quickly in front of the horse that her ponytail brushed against it, possibly causing the steed to go crazy.

In an apparently unprecedented move, the Royal Guard told a person filming it to “call a police officer” to help the injured woman.
She let out a scream as the horse leaned down to bite her on the arm.

The injury was apparently so severe that the Royal Guard made a seemingly unprecedented move: pointing his sword at a cameraman before asking: “Can you go get the police officer?”
This year alone, several tourists have been captured on video and photographs being bitten and allegedly pushed to the ground by the King’s Guard’s horses.
Scheana originally documented her time in London shortly after returning to Los Angeles with a video posted to her YouTube channel on July 24.
She was in the UK for what she described as a “girls trip,” which included seeing Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre in concert and making an appearance at the Saving Grace podcast.
The Vanderpump Rules event passed by several popular tourist and iconic locations, including the Victoria Memorial near Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.
On her last day in London, she and her friend Jenny took a cruise along the Thames and sailed under the picturesque Tower Bridge.
Another woman was allegedly thrown to the pavement by one of the Royal Guard’s horses.
In one terrifying incident, a woman ignored the sign and touched the horse’s face. The animal then bit her arm (which was wrapped in the sleeve of a black padded jacket) and pulled her back and forth before finally releasing her.

She and her friend Jenny visited the Victoria Memorial near Buckingham Palace on the same day she was bitten by the horse.
They concluded their trip with a relaxing cruise along the Thames, which took them under the iconic Tower Bridge.
Following her return home, she took a prominent role as a judge at the Miss USA pageant in Los Angeles earlier this month; photographed on August 4 in Los Angeles.
The beginning of her trip didn’t go as planned, as her friend ended up having a delayed flight that made her miss the entire first day.
So Scheana improvised with a visit to a fancy cocktail bar and an evening stroll around the city in her workout clothes, which she joked made it clear she was a tourist.
