The Bachelorette’s latest jilted star, Sam McKinney, left viewers with goosebumps after brazenly admitting to Jenn Tran that she’s not his type during a group date that was meant to bring them closer together.
In embarrassing scenes that aired on Monday night, the 27-year-old bachelor “revealed his true colors” during his radio show interview with Jenn, 26, who invited each bachelor into the studio for an individual debrief.
During her interview with Sam, which was watched by the rest of the group, she asked him what his first impressions were and how they had evolved over time.
While the questions should have been fairly easy to answer, Sam made such egregious mistakes that they left fans so horrified that they branded him “the biggest idiot.”
He said: ‘I almost didn’t even come here and I thought, no, there’s an opportunity to find my wife here and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

“My dream is to be a father, to be a husband. My parents have been together for more than 30 years.”
The interview reached its climax when Jenn asked, ‘Do you feel like you really know me?’

As expected, the decision did not sit well with Jenn, who vented in her confessional: “I don’t know why he’s doing this.”

During Jenn’s interview with Sam, he stated that he thought the bachelorette would be either Daisy Kent or Maria Georgasw.
The producers were visibly shocked by Sam’s blunt comments.

Jenn ended up leaving Sam before the end of the episode.
By the end of the episode, Jenn was finally done with Sam and dropped him from the competition before the rose ceremony.
Following his exit, Sam took to Instagram to share a video statement in which he admitted that rewatching the show hadn’t been “easy.”
“So the kindness of all of you has reached far beyond what you know, to me and my family,” he said.
Captioning the post, he added: ‘Even though it was hard to watch this, I’m grateful.
‘Jenn’s bravery in every aspect of this process showed me that it was possible to open up to my past again.
“Her ability to feel and respond to all my emotions in every situation was something I’ve never had before. It’s something that gives me hope for the future.
“I’m not perfect and I don’t pretend to be, but I know where my heart is and the love I feel inside. And I look forward to the day when I can share it with someone.”
