The $25 buy from Target that’s the perfect ‘dupe’ of a designer version costing $1400

It looks a lot like the $1,400 Marni bag.

Target’s latest model has been described as the “must-have” bag of the season and costs just $25.

The round-handled summer bag bears a striking resemblance to Marni’s Tropicalia bucket bag, which retails for $1,400.

The key difference is that it does not have the brand name on the outside.

“Get rid of the flashy logo and save over $1,000 with this,” said the Kmart team expert, comparing the bags.

And fans quickly agreed.

“There is no way we should have to pay huge prices to advertise a brand,” said one woman.

“And it doesn’t have that nasty excuse for a logo – fantastic,” said another.

But one element of the cheap deception left buyers disappointed.

‘Ooh, does Target have a drawstring bag too?’

“No, I wish it were that way,” responded the page administrator.

Another came up with a solution and revealed that she uses dust bags inside all her zipperless bags.

Target has recently surprised its fans with good copies of designer items, almost rivaling small sister company Kmart.

A summer dress recently went viral.

Target’s linen-blend scalloped hem midi dress ($70) has wowed Australian women looking to spruce up their wardrobes.

It’s been compared to Posse’s Zayla dress ($399), which sold out immediately, and another design from Seed Heritage ($229).

Both dresses are available in black and white and have scalloped hems at the chest and along the skirt.

The fashionable detail elevates the ensemble above a simple strapless dress.

‘The Target cut is the best, it’s gorgeous!’ —exclaimed a buyer.

“I’m here for the Kmart and Target scams that have been going down lately,” said another.

A third wrote: “I really like Target’s European linen range – I find it very well made.”
