Texas Longhorns special teams coordinator Jeff Banks married his stripper girlfriend, Dani Thomas, better known as the Pole Vault Killer, over the weekend.
The nuptials came nearly three years after Thomas’ “emotional support monkey” allegedly bit a toddler.
However, there was no sign of the primate at the ceremony, which apparently took place in Texas.
“72 amazing hours with our closest family and friends,” Banks captioned a selfie of the newlyweds on the dance floor during the reception.
“We love you all very much and now we are going to Barcelona for our honeymoon,” she added.

Other University of Texas staff members also shared snaps from the big day, including a sweet photo of the couple sharing their first dance.
Although Banks and Thomas haven’t made headlines since 2021, the couple’s relationship has been far from drama-free.
Banks split from his wife Kori, with whom he has a daughter, Sydnei, and sons Gage and Tanner, in late 2017.
In February 2018, she was dating Thomas.
The adult entertainer, who once appeared on Jerry Springer with her monkey Gia, came under fire in 2021 after her pet allegedly bit a child at a haunted house she set up in her yard for Halloween.
She angrily denied the allegations in a Twitter post that she later deleted, according to Sports Illustrated.
“I had a haunted house locked on one side. He didn’t have permission to go through the gate and I had no idea he had entered my backyard,” she wrote at the time.
Thomas is pictured with his “emotional support monkey,” a white-faced capuchin.
Gia regularly joined ‘Pole Assassin’ on stage, according to her Instagram account.
“I didn’t know anything about the bite either. Until a local doctor told me it was better to treat it with a small bite. No parent has contacted me to talk about it,” she continued.
“An 11- or 12-year-old should know not to go into someone’s yard without permission and be old enough to follow the rules. The rules were that when you got to the gate you turned around and went out to get candy, all the other parents and kids had to do the same,” she added.

Banks, who joined the University of Texas staff in 2021, became the first special teams coordinator to receive a salary of $1 million or more.

But it’s the presence of Peyton and Eli Manning’s nephew, backup quarterback Arch, that has made the Longhorns one of the most visible teams in the country heading into 2024. Arch is not expected to be a starter, but Sarkisian has said the highly touted sophomore will see the field in 2024.
