A Spaniard has claimed his mother forced him to watch and photograph her having sex with Spain’s King Juan Carlos to get millions of pounds from the country’s royal family when he was just 13, according to reports.
Ángel Cristo, a photographer, alleges that his mother, actress and television presenter Bárbara Rey, harassed him in 1994 into carrying out the blackmail plot that was covered up by the Spanish security services.
According to Cristo’s account, King invited the King, then still married to his wife Queen Sofia, to her family home on a sunny afternoon, where she made him paella, swam with him in her pool and finally seduced him, 20 years later. that they had started a romance together.
The photographs, seen by MailOnline, show Rey and Juan Carlos, now 86, who abdicated the throne 10 years ago, kissing and hugging on their terrace, and also show Rey pouring King wine, before entering.
He told the Telegraph: ‘I was only 13, but I was good with the camera. My mother said, “It’s a shame you’re too young to help me with this. But you couldn’t, could you?”
‘She went on and on until I said ‘yes, I’ll do it.’ ‘She manipulated me,’ Cristo said, adding that he believed this constituted abuse.

The reign of King Juan Carlos was plagued by scandals
Cristo was hiding on his neighbor’s property with a line of sight to the affair and captured it with his Canon EOS 700 camera. Rey had also hidden a secret video camera and filmed the affair.
Cristo said he later edited copies of this clip for his mother.
The photographer said that while he knew what he was doing was wrong, he wanted to help his mother’s dire financial situation.
He is alleged to have manipulated the Spanish secret service into giving him around £3million.
The money was paid in a series of installments, the first being delivered by secret service agents in a sports bag.
The State then agreed to pay him £250,000 a year for a decade.
Although he was supposed to destroy all copies of the photos and videos, he kept some hidden in a safe under his father’s couch in Totana, his hometown, and in a bank deposit box in Luxembourg.

Juan Carlos abdicated the Spanish throne in 2014
The affair cost the Spanish crown around £3 million in money to keep quiet.
Angel then took them and sold some to a Dutch magazine for “a very modest sum” last month.
Leaks of a recorded telephone conversation between the King and Charles revealed that the King had confided in him about personal matters, including the status of his marriage to Queen Sofia.
Carlos explained during a phone call in the mid-1990s: ‘We don’t have a family life.
‘Between you and me, and being selfish, I find it very comfortable because the Queen does her job perfectly. And she also endures the situation and does not run away with another man,” he added.
A separate phone call with a friend revealed that Rey was with him for “four-odd years before they got married.” And again after separating in 1989.
Rey added: “We always had a telephone relationship and we met on occasion while I was married.”
He abdicated the throne in 2014, after financial scandals and rumors of his infidelity became too much for him, and moved to Dubai.
Ángel said his mother abused him when he was a child by forcing him to take these photographs
Despite this, she has never spoken publicly about her romance with the King, although she has said several times that she had a flirtation with a “high state official.”
Her son said she used her previous relationship with the King to get her life back on track, following a messy divorce with her husband, Angel’s father.
Ángel also alleged that her mother commissioned her to take photographs of her having sexual relations with Frank Frances, who would later become her mother’s boyfriend, to sell to Spanish newspapers.
“It’s strange to see your mother with a man,” she said.
Since the matter became known, the Spanish media have admitted that they knew about the matter, but refused to publish anything in case it offended the royal family.
At the time, Spain had only been a democracy for 20 years, and Juan Carlos was seen as the face of modern Spain, a far cry from the fascist dictatorship of Francisco Franco.

Although he was supposed to destroy all copies of the photos and videos, he kept some hidden in various places.

He is alleged to have manipulated the Spanish secret service into giving him around £3million.
Lucía Méndez, a journalist for the newspaper El Mundo, told the Telegraph: ‘At that time we were at the peak of self-esteem due to the changes made over the last 20 years, and the representative who embodied our new status was the king.
‘There was consensus among the elites, politicians and journalists to let the king do what he wanted. But even now it is shocking to hear him discuss matters of state with a woman like Bárbara Rey. Anyone who behaves like this is clearly a danger to their own system.’
But since then, Juan Carlos has been involved in a series of scandals.
He abdicated the throne in 2014, after financial scandals and rumors of his infidelity became too much for him, and moved to Dubai.
The Royal Family stripped him of his 200,000-euro-a-year stipend after another financial scandal.
King, Juan Carlos and the royal house of Spain declined to comment to the Telegraph.
