Several shots were heard near Donald Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach.
The former president was playing golf at his South Florida club on Sunday when news of the shooting emerged.
“President Trump is safe following the shooting that occurred in his vicinity,” Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement. “There are no further details at this time.”
This comes just two months after Trump was shot in the ear during an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.
