Saturday Kitchen guest Kate Carter-Larg has hit back at critics who branded her breakfast TV outfit “too revealing”.
The 35-year-old owner of The Cheesy Toast Shack in St Andrews appeared on the BBC show alongside her husband Sam, 39.
After her appearance last week, she faced backlash for what some considered inappropriate attire.
However, Kate has since made it clear that she stands by her clothing choice and wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Talking to him daily star On whether he regretted anything, he said: ‘Of course not, I would love to come back.’ I think it’s great that we can talk about small business owners and people who have that entrepreneurial spirit and stand up and show what they do.

‘I would come back in a heartbeat. It was one of the best days of my life, it was a great moment. I wouldn’t change anything and I would never change the way I dress forever.’
He added: “If they asked me to come back, I would wear the same type of clothes again, I wouldn’t change anything.” I have confidence in myself!’
During the segment, Kate made waves by showing viewers how to make macaroni and cheese on toast.
The business owner donned a strapless, low-cut burgundy top along with a pair of navy blue jeans and a brown belt.
On X/Twitter after his appearance on the show, viewers wrote: ‘He wore that shirt to cook?!’
‘I can’t concentrate on the show because I’m worried her top will fall off. She pulls and pulls on him as he keeps slipping,” to which another viewer responded, “I know…inappropriate dress code.”
‘Costume malfunctions can definitely take attention away from the show itself. Let’s hope this is resolved quickly so everyone, including her, can feel more at ease.

Her choice of top surprised some viewers who felt it was too revealing for a cooking segment on a morning show.
It comes after Saturday Kitchen viewers previously threatened to “pull the plug” after criticizing Lulu as the “most irritating guest ever”.
Along with Matt Tebbutt and Georgina Hayden, Genevieve Taylor and Jason Atherton, the Scottish singers, 75, left viewers unimpressed.
Lulu infuriated by frequently referencing her age and how her grandchildren maintain her hips.
He also criticized the seasoning Matt, 50, used on his chicken and randomly broke into song, specifically Music by John Miles.
On X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: ‘Jesus cried. Lulu is THE most insufferable annoying person I have ever seen. @SaturdayKitchen’;
They wrote: ‘I thought Lulu on Saturday in the kitchen was very loud and obnoxious and why did I feel the need to keep mentioning her age?’;
It comes after viewers threatened to “pull the plug” after criticizing Lulu as the “most irritating guest ever” during last week’s episode.
