Ryan Reynolds has revealed the identity of the only cast member he argued with on the set of his blockbuster new film Deadpool & Wolverine.

The film unites two heavyweights of the superhero genre: Ryan, who plays Deadpool, and Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine.

Hugh in particular has been beloved by comic book fans as their big-screen Wolverine since he first portrayed the character in the 2000 X-Men film.

Wolverine and Deadpool have a prickly comedic relationship on-screen, and now Ryan has revealed he had a run-in with one of his co-stars in real life, too.

In fact, the actress in question is someone with whom Ryan shares a close personal bond, he confessed in a new post on his Instagram page.

The co-star who clashed with Ryan was his seven-year-old daughter, Inez, whom he shares with wife Blake Lively, he touchingly revealed.

Ryan and Blake have been married since 2012 and now share four children: daughters James, nine, Inez and Betty, four, and son Olin, five months.

Blake makes an appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine as a character named Ladypool, with Inez also making a surprise cameo as Kidpool.

On Thursday, Ryan took to his Instagram page and posted a sweet photo of him and Inez in costume on set, clearly having a conversation.

Ryan had fallen to his knees and was staring at Inez as he gestured outside, and Inez turned her attention back to him.

“She’s the only co-star I’ve ever argued with. Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest, but she’s also really good at talking back and never takes out the trash,” he joked.

Deadpool & Wolverine opened in theaters last Friday and surpassed $200 million domestically in its opening weekend, earning the biggest opening ever for an R-rated film.

Ryan and Blake welcomed their new baby in February of this year, but waited until last month to announce they had chosen the name Olin.

The Hollywood couple were mocked on social media for their “strange” choice: a Nordic name referring to the heir of an ancestor.

Then, last Friday, the day Deadpool & Wolverine opened in theaters, Ryan starred in a promotional video for the film and revealed that his baby is a boy.

He dropped the bombshell during a heartbreaking conversation with a man named Josh Bell, whose late son Jake was a Deadpool fan.

“I want to share with you that I have a son too, and if I love him a tenth of what you love Jake, I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job,” Ryan said.
