Rachael Finch has hit out at critics of her parenting.

The former Miss Universe Australia winner, 35, took to Instagram to share a new clip of her children exercising indoors on Friday.

In the video, Rachael, who shares daughter Violet, eight, and son Dominic, five, with husband Michael Miziner, can be seen stepping on her daughter’s feet as the eight-year-old does sit-ups.

Meanwhile, Dominic showed off his enthusiasm for fitness as he energetically performed star jumps in the background.

“Haters will love this video today. Today we’re going to be working out as a family to get our minds and bodies feeling good,” she wrote alongside the story.

This comes after the Australian TV presenter was recently criticised by fans when she shared a video of herself jogging behind Violet as she shouted words of encouragement during a cross-country race.

Rachael then responded to critics in an Instagram video on May 30, insisting she was simply “motivating her daughter to do the best she can.”

“Just a quick message to anyone who wants to criticize me or attack me personally for wanting to support, encourage and motivate my daughter to do the best she can,” she said.

‘Just a couple of things. One, check the data. And two, check back in about eight years, when Violet is an adult, to see how she’s progressed.’

Journalists Amy, Kate and Sophie Taeuber attacked the blogger on their podcast Outspoken, describing her approach as “next level” and arguing that she could have “put off” other young people in the race.

They noted that there would have been a lot of children running after Rachael, given that Violet came 12th out of 100.

Rachael often responds passionately to comments about her parenting, as she previously did to trolls who accused her of “underfeeding” her children with a “strict” diet.

In April, she was branded an “almond mom” and accused of “endangering” her children after sharing a video of herself making them “naked burgers” using lettuce leaves instead of buns.

“Almond mom” is a pejorative term for a mother who imposes disordered and unhealthy eating habits on her children. It is often used to refer to parents who are “obsessed” with nutrition.

An elated Rachael argued that the baseless accusation was downright “hilarious” as she slammed critics of her healthy dinners.

Sharing a photo of herself cuddling her two children, Rachael wrote: ‘Someone officially tagged me as “almond mama” this week.

‘Definition according to Google: “A parent who follows incredibly strict or dangerously unhealthy eating habits and attempts to force them on their children.”

‘This was because I made naked burgers for dinner (a patty of meat and vegetables wrapped in a lettuce leaf).

“While it’s absolutely disgusting, it’s also absurdly hilarious. I’ve now become a pro at responding emotionally to these comments.

“I’ve had a lot of laughs with many of you about what kind of mother you would be if you were labeled with a food. Comment on what kind of mother you would be if you were labeled with a food.”

Several of Rachael’s followers agreed that “almond mama” was an unfair label and flocked to support the star.

In her cooking video, Rachael is shown preparing mini beef burgers with vegetables, including pickles, carrots and arugula, as well as mashed avocado and tomato sauce, for her children.

She placed the ingredients in a bowl of lettuce instead of a bun and was widely criticised for allegedly giving her children “eating disorders” with healthy food in a wild claim.
