Prince Harry has revealed that Princess Lilibet has her mother Meghan Markle’s “thick hair” and that it is so long she “can almost sit in it.”
The Duke of Sussex, 40, made a rare comment about his daughter while attending the WellChild Awards in London.
“Archie and Lili have been blessed with their mother’s thick hair… it won’t be long until Lili can sit in hers,” he said, according to an aide.
Harry also added that his “wonderful” wife Meghan was “holding down the fort” with their two children, as well as their dogs, which, he added, “are not at all housetrained,” according to Hello!
Meghan remained at the couple’s Montecito home, while Harry appeared at ten solo engagements over 15 days without his wife on a ‘quasi-royal tour’ of New York, London and Lesotho.
However, Meghan, who shares five-year-old Archie and three-year-old Lilibet with the Duke of Sussex, was spotted at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital gala on Saturday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are rarely seen with their children, Archie and Lili, whom they prefer to keep out of the spotlight.
The young people have already made brief appearances in the Sussexes’ documentary and on their Christmas cards.
While the couple’s daughter, Lilibet, may resemble her mother’s hair in length, rare images show the little girl with blonde hair.
Meanwhile, Archie is said to take after his father with red locks.
Prince Harry previously revealed during an interview with The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in 2023 that red hair genes ran strong in his family.
He said: ‘The Spencer gene is very, very strong. In fact, I really thought at the beginning of my relationship (with Meghan) that if this went all the way and we had children, there was no way the ginger gene would resist my wife’s genes, but I was wrong!’

As a patron of WellChild for over 15 years, Harry has regularly attended the awards ceremony hosted by the organisation, the national charity for seriously ill children and their families.
WellChild chief executive Matt James said Harry’s involvement with the charity was “huge for us”.
He added: “It does two things: It allows us to give our inspirational winners a night they will never forget, a night that will always stay with them.”
“But it also gives us a platform to tell their stories, which is really important for a group of families whose challenges often go unnoticed and misunderstood.”
The awards celebrate the inspiring qualities of some of the country’s seriously ill young people and the dedication of those who keep them healthy and happy, including health, social care and education professionals.
In recent years, Harry was accompanied by his wife Meghan, but traveled alone to London from their home in the celebrity enclave of Montecito in California, where the couple established a new life for themselves and their sons Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.
