Popular TikTokker Scott O’Halloran has opened up about his long-term relationship with an AFL star.
Scott revealed his former romance with the sports star on this week’s episode of his podcast. Lucas and Sassy Scott.
He explained that the couple dated for “three or four years when they were both in the closet,” but their relationship ended due to “toxicity and homophobia.”
“I had a relationship that lasted three to four years with an AFL football player, who no longer plays in the AFL,” she said.
“I think I loved him. I don’t know if he loved me. We enjoyed each other’s company and trusted each other a lot when we were both in the closet.

Scott described their relationship as “beautiful” but admitted they were afraid their romance would become public.
‘But then there was this other side where we could scratch the surface of him being an AFL football player and a legend of the game and how scared he was that they would ever find out who he was, because of the homophobia in the game.’
He continued: ‘The toxicity and homophobia is what killed our relationship. It was too much pressure for him. “It was too much pressure for me.”
It comes after Scott recently lashed out at AFL for not doing enough to stamp out homophobia, following football star Jeremy Finlayson’s shocking homophobic insult against an Essendon player.
He explained that the couple dated for “three or four years when they were both in the closet,” but their relationship ended due to “toxicity and homophobia.”
He also referred to the case of North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson, who was fined. $20,000 and a two-match suspended ban for using the word ‘c**ks***er’ in a heated exchange with two St Kilda players during pre-season.
“The AFL has a big problem on their hands and they are to blame,” he said.
‘Alastair Clarkson, an AFL coach, used a homophobic slur and all he received was a small fine compared to the man’s salary, and he clearly has not deterred the player, Jeremy Finlayson, from using a homophobic slur on the field . .’
It comes after Scott lashed out at the AFL for not doing enough to stamp out homophobia, following football star Jeremy Finlayson’s shocking homophobic slur against an Essendon player.
“I’m calling on the AFL to reconsider Alastair Clarkson’s punishment and take that into account when it comes to Jeremy Finlayson, because in any other organization in Australia you would immediately lose your role for speaking to a colleague like this.”
