Fans were concerned to see Kim Kardashian at the fashion show wearing a corset ensemble that showed off her incredibly slender waist, with one fan asking: “How many ribs did they remove?”
But it didn’t take long for the world to learn why Kim couldn’t attend the after-parties: She had a scheduled appearance in Europe the next day.
Kim, 43, was scheduled to speak at the 2024 OMR Festival in Hamburg, Germany, on May 7-8.
“From there I went to the plane,” Kim — who also recently appeared at Tom Brady’s roast — explained at the festival, according to People. “I slept on the plane and here I am.”
Kim Kardashian had a very good reason for missing the star-studded after-parties: she was due to appear in Europe the next day.
She added that the party wasn’t really for her: ‘It was really nice not to go to all the after parties. It’s not really my thing to go out so it was the perfect excuse, because I really wanted to come here.’
Proving she really can do it all, Kim touched down in Hamburg at 3pm on Tuesday after walking the red carpet around 7pm New York time on Monday night.
Germany is six hours ahead of New York making their two appearances just 13 hours apart. The flight from New York to Hamburg takes about nine hours.

But he decided not to attend any raucous after-parties in the Big Apple and instead hopped straight on his private jet to head to Europe red-eyed.
She still looked immaculate as she arrived at Hamburg airport in front of her fans and even took the time to sign autographs after the long flight.

Kim previously revealed that she took corset breathing lessons to wear a corseted Thierry Mugler dress for the 2019 Met Gala.
She gushed: ‘I learned a lot about couture from this genius [Thierry Mugler], it was beyond haute couture, it was art! 7 months of manufacturing and assembly in Montreal, Paris and Los Angeles.
The reality star’s waist looked especially small in a new video she uploaded to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
The artsy video showed Kim posing up a storm in her metallic outfit.
She followed up with a behind-the-scenes look at her session.

Although Kim has not confirmed whether she underwent a refresher lesson in corset breathing, Corset previously worked with John Galliano, who designed her outfit for this year’s Met Gala.
Kim’s waist looked even smaller in a video she posted Tuesday of her Met Gala look.
The post included an art video of her posing in the ensemble followed by a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot.
