Body Positive social media star Alex Light took to Instagram to share a video calling out “harmful” comments directed at Margot, who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.
She read a series of “ridiculous” comments on social media, predominantly left by male users, directed at Margot’s pregnant body and callously rating her appearance.
Alex passionately responded to criticism of the Hollywood star as he slammed “impossible and unattainable social expectations” in a body-confident message.
She raged at how “ridiculous” it is that Margot, 34, who she says is considered “the most beautiful woman on the planet”, has still been attacked by vicious trolls.
“I think we should let this serve as a reminder that no matter who we are or what we look like, our bodies and our appearance will always be scrutinized,” she said.
‘So let’s let ourselves live and free ourselves from the burden of these impossible and unattainable social expectations that literally affect us all.
“For the record, Margot Robbie looks great and should be allowed to just enjoy her vacation without people analyzing how her body is changing.”

In a caption, Alex added: ‘I mean, HONESTLY, it’s just ridiculous right now.
“And it just goes to show that no matter WHO you are, even if you’re Margot fucking Robbie and you’re considered one of the most beautiful women on the planet, people are going to have *something* to say.”
“Essentially, there’s no way to win, so we might as well free ourselves from harmful standards and focus our attention beyond our appearance.”
Many of her 569,000 followers were quick to share their outrage, taking to the comments section to criticize the “misogynistic” comments and “double standards.”
