Olly Alexander has revealed that Kirsten Dunst is his main dream star to work with on a film, as he hints at a return to acting following his acclaimed role in It’s A Sin.
The Eurovision singer, 33, surprised fans with a last-minute gig in London’s Shoreditch on Friday as he celebrated the launch of the Magnum Pick Up Your Pleasure campaign.
Taking to the stage at Kachette, Shoreditch, Olly delivered a laid-back version of It’s A Sin and Eyes Shut before picking up the pace to belt out his euphoric songs including Starstruck and If You’re Over Me.
And in an exclusive interview, Olly was asked at the event who he would like to star in a film with and why.
Revealing that the decision was “really difficult” for him, he said: “I would love to be in a movie with Kirsten Dunst.

The singer received critical acclaim for his performance as Ritchie Tozer in the Channel 4 drama It’s A Sin in 2021.
In an exclusive interview obtained by MailOnline, Olly was asked who he would like to star in a film with and why, and he quickly named the Bring It On star.
“Because I could say, ‘Oh my God, Kirsten Dunst, you’re an icon.'”
Olly also admitted that if a biopic were ever released, he would “choose an unexpected cast and cast Florence Pugh” to play him.
She also named White Lotus as a show she would love to attend because it would give her a nice vacation.
For the surprise concert, Love Island’s Callum Jones and his latest love interest, Myna Amor, made an appearance.
Teddy Soares and recent Love Island star Munveer Jabbal were also among the celebrity guests who attended the intimate event.

His appearance occurs after he gave a career update after representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year.

He recently confirmed his solo career by announcing that being part of his band Years & Years is a thing of the past.
She took to the stage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton for her first performance since Eurovision.
Addressing the crowd, Olly explained: ‘Listen, listen, I don’t have to tell you how good it feels to be back in the UK and doing a show.
“You know what? This is my first show as Olly Alexander. I used to be in Years and Years and now it’s just me.”
The star put zero points aside as she took to the stage in Luton on Sunday for day three of the BBC festival, which was headlined by Coldplay.
Olly stepped out in a black vest and white cargo pants for his daring performance, and also sported a pair of bright red sunglasses.
The hitmaker was joined on stage by two backing singers and dancers and had a video of himself playing on the big screen behind him as he performed.
