Gabbriette Bechtel was full of praise for her fiancé Matty Healy in a new interview on Wednesday, following their recent engagement.

Gabbriette posed for a stunning new photo shoot with British Vogueand spoke about her relationship and her children with the 1975 singer.
Speaking to the publication, she gushed: “I love being in love,” after hanging up the phone with her fiancé.
She added: “When I thought I was in love, I was just a helpful person to someone else.”

Vogue reported that the couple is preparing to move into their new home in the Hollywood Hills. where Gabbriette hopes to one day have a family.
She said: ‘When I have kids, it will be like this: we’ll have dinner every night, no phones, celebrating the smallest things and recognising people’s happiness.’
Hinting at how she and Matty first connected, when answering what her advice is for anyone still looking for love, she replied: ‘Reply to all your direct messages and listen to your closest friends.
“When you like someone, you have to listen to them.”
The couple has been happier than ever since announcing their engagement last month.
Before Matty’s mother Denise Welsh confirmed the news on Loose Women, Gabbriette strongly hinted that she would be “marrying” the 1975 singer.
Denise, who met Gabbriette five months into their romance, said: “We couldn’t be happier. She is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law.”
Denise explained that the couple had announced the news to their loved ones “a few weeks ago.”
“I’ve known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged,” she told her co-stars. “They went to see their friends Charli and George in New York.”
“I woke up this morning and noticed that it had been posted on Instagram. Instagram is official: he’s engaged to Gabbriette. She’s from LA, she’s absolutely gorgeous,” before adding bizarrely: “He has a rat.”

The proud mum revealed that Matty had the distinctive ring custom made, gushing: “It’s a black diamond, she had it made for herself and I couldn’t be more excited.”

Gabbriette continued to show off her engagement ring when she later shared a mirror selfie, but switched it to her right hand.
Gabbriette, who posted the ring photo while at Charli XCX’s concert, showed off her daring outfit on her story.
She was braless, wearing a strapless black mini dress and wearing knee-high boots with a strappy black choker.
After five months together, the frontman introduced his model girlfriend to his parents Denise and Tim Healy.
The new couple went to see the Loose Women star’s show The Gap in Manchester, before later meeting the rock star’s family, including her brother, Louis.
Denise shared the cute photo on Instagram with the caption: “So nice to have the family over to watch mom work! @hopemilltheatre #thegap (heart emojis).”

Some wrote: ‘I was expecting this to happen but still got scared by the notification.’

Matty reportedly purchased the engagement ring for $10,800 at a vintage clearance sale.
The couple has been linked since September 2023, following Healy’s split from Taylor Swift in June, when they were spotted enjoying some passionate PDA in New York City.
They are now an official couple and have since made several public appearances together, including during Fashion Week and at the band’s concerts.

Often referred to as Gabbriette, she was born in Orange County, California in 1997, making her eight years younger than Matty.
Although she moved to Los Angeles with dreams of becoming a ballet dancer, Gabbriette pursued a modeling career after being cast in a music video for Blood Orange.
However, this was no bed of roses, as in May 2023 she told Vogue that she spent much of her time as an “unpaid, working model.”
Since then he has worked with brands such as Diesel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs.
It’s not something she would have anticipated as a child, adding: “Most of the students at my high school were beautiful, strictly white, blonde girls, and my sister and I were Hispanic. I was called some pretty horrible things, but then I learned to laugh about it.”
In addition to her modelling interests, Gabbriette shares with Matty a love of the stage, having been the lead vocalist for punk rock band Nasty Cherry, a group personally selected by British pop singer Charli XCX in 2018.
