Matt Damon revealed that the family dynamic has changed since his eldest daughter, Isabella, 18, moved out and went off to college.
Matt is a father to daughters Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, 13, with wife Luciana, 48, as well as daughter Alexia, 26, from a previous relationship.
Matt, 53, spoke to E! News at Stella Artois’ Let’s Do Dinner event in New York City about the family adjustment after Isabella left for college, explaining: ‘We have a 26-year-old daughter (Alexia), so we’ve been through this once before, but it’s still a big adjustment for us and her sisters.’
She added: “It’s a different home, with one less person. So it’s a big change.”

In August, Matt opened up about his daughters and what it means to be a female parent, in an interview with Andy Cohen during his appearance on SiriusXM Radio Andy Show.
When asked what his best advice was for parenting a daughter, Matt told Andy: “I don’t know. I wouldn’t deign to give anyone advice except to try to listen and be helpful. Ultimately, it’s about building self-esteem.” People.
And he added: “You know that in 99% of the decisions they make, you won’t be present, right?” he said.
Andy asked him how he reacts if they bring home a guy they’re dating, and asked, “What kind of parent are you when they bring a guy home and say, ‘I’m dating this…'”
Matt said, “Oh, I’m fine. I’m fine with it. You know what I mean?”
The actor is originally from Boston and Andy asked him if he makes ‘Boston’ his daughter’s love interest.
“You don’t go all Boston and say, ‘What are you doing with my daughter?'”
“No, no, no. It’s an old cliché that I think people like to take advantage of. Parents like to joke about it amongst themselves, I think sometimes, but no,” Matt said.

Luciana recalled that people recognized him and asked for photos and autographs, so Matt went behind the bar to hide.
“It got a little aggressive because people are drinking and stuff,” he said.
“He came and hid behind the bar… (he wanted to) just stay there and have a drink. He said, ‘Oh, I saw you and I really wanted to talk to you.'”
Luciana said she told him that if he is behind the counter, he can’t just stand there making him work.
“He had trained as a bartender for a movie years before, so he started mixing drinks. And he made a lot of money in tips that night, because of course everyone wanted to go see it,” he said.
“It turned out to be a really fun night and 15 years later here we are,” he added.
Matt and Luciana met in April 2003, got engaged in September 2005, and married on December 9, 2005.
When asked what his best advice was for being a father to a daughter, Matt told Andy, “I don’t know. I wouldn’t deign to give anyone advice, I just try to listen and be helpful. They welcomed their first daughter together, Isabella, in June 2006, their second daughter, Gia, in August 2008, and their third daughter, Stella, in October 2010.
During his interview on Radio Andy he said that his daughter Alexia’s boyfriend is “incredible” and that he and Luciana “adore” him.
“You know what, at least our (25-year-old) has an amazing boyfriend that Lucy and I love. We adore that guy and seeing him make those kinds of decisions is really the best thing we can do,” Matt told Andy.
