Jules and Cameron were seriously considering IVF before she managed to conceive naturally, a feat she largely attributes to Ayurvedic medicine.

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian wellness practice that aims to help patients achieve balance through food, herbs, meditation, yoga and detoxification.

“I discovered Ayurvedic medicine about two years ago, and when I sat down with the specialist, it became very clear that there was no way my body was going to produce a baby,” Jules explained.

What is Ayurvedic medicine?

Ayurveda, which means “the science of life,” is an Indian therapy that assumes that the body maintains good health through a balance of energies.

These energies (vata, pitta and kapha) are governed by diet and emotions. Treatment depends on detoxification and dietary management and is often done in the form of herbal medicine, but also incorporates meditation, astrology, aromatherapy and yoga.

A doctor will evaluate your diet, lifestyle, and mood and perform a physical exam before suggesting therapy.

It is claimed that Ayurveda can treat gastrointestinal problems, metabolic disorders and problems with the circulatory system, as well as headaches, tension, high blood pressure, migraines, skin conditions and gynecological ailments.

‘The pressure I was putting him under. You know, work, adrenaline, fight or flight. And I really had to take advantage of it to have a baby. It all just made sense. It was like a drop on a dime that my body said, “We’re on fire. We’re not going to give you a child right now. You need to relax.”

Jules went on to reveal that she also took a meditation course, noting that “stress is not conducive to pregnancy.”

“It’s been a very busy five years and I think if I had continued racing like I was, I don’t think it would have happened,” he said.

Last month, the reality star officially released her debut book Ask Jules, in which she shares her personal experiences and expert advice on beauty, wellness, and self-love.

In the book, the author recalls how she consulted a medium and underwent chakra healing, color healing and energy treatments while attending a holistic women’s health retreat in Bali.

‘Stress does not favor pregnancy. Instead, I put my energy into manifesting. I imagined myself pregnant, putting on my maternity clothes and leaning into feminine styles,” Jules writes.

Jules said she “never lost faith” after so many years of trying to have a baby and had learned the importance of slowing down and focusing on her own needs during the process.
