Most 65-year-olds wouldn’t go out to see a sex-packed play in London’s West End, but Madonna is no ordinary 65-year-old.
The American singer spent Saturday night sitting in her own box at the Noël Coward Theatre, watching a play that has been described as one of the “most shocking” ever to grace a London stage.
The adult film Slave Play, which was released earlier this month, has sparked controversy for its depiction of interracial relationships, its repeated use of racial slurs and its sexually graphic content, including a 10-minute nude sex scene with Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington.
The set includes a mirrored wall that provides a good view of the action on stage that can be seen from all corners of the auditorium.
But theatre bosses have had to impose stickers to block cameras on mobile phones to protect their actors’ modesty from leaks.

Despite the mixed reviews, Madonna clearly loved it, as she came backstage after the performance to thank the actors, including Harington and Olivia Whasington, for their raunchy display.
The pop star can’t get enough as this isn’t the first time she’s seen full frontal male nudity in Slave Play.
In 2018, it saw an off-Broadway production in New York.
Madonna, who is no stranger to showing skin on Instagram, is currently staying at her £10million Georgian home in Marylebone, London.
Sources say he is in the UK working on a biopic about his life.
Dan Cadan, a British writer with whom she has previously collaborated, is attached to the project, and Julia Garner is rumoured to be playing the Like A Virgin singer.

Other stars who have seen the controversial Slave Play since its premiere include Dune actress Zendaya, The Queen’s Gambit star Anna Taylor-Joy, Matrix actor Laurence Fishburne and Heartstopper heartthrob Kit Connor.
