Machine Gun Kelly decided to throw out his first pitch to the Progressive Field crowd on Tuesday.

Famed rapper Machine Gun Kelly threw a wild first pitch before the Cleveland Guardians played the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night.

MGK’s effort was so bizarre that fans criticized him online for not following baseball tradition.

Before every Major League Baseball game, a celebrity or person from the local community comes out to the mound to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

The pitch is typically delivered near the plate and looks a bit like what pitchers do on a daily basis.

Machine Gun Kelly mimes throwing the ball over the plate before stepping off the mound and throwing it into the crowd above the third base dugout.

“If trying too hard was a sport,” one baseball fan said on social media.

“That was really horrible and not funny at all!” said another Guardians fan.

“Angel Hernandez would have called it a strike,” said one MLB fan, mocking the controversial retired umpire.

“This guy is a loser, how can he have a platform?” concluded one baseball fan.

Kelly is from the Cleveland area, in nearby Shaker Heights. He detailed his plan for the first pitch on “MGK DAY” at the stadium.

“I had a plan, or I was going to hit a 92-mile-an-hour curveball… but I think another plan got into my head,” Machine Gun Kelly said. “I’ll keep you guessing.”

It is not known whether Kelly was referring to his plan to throw the ball into the stands at Progressive Field or if he changed again.

The play brought good luck to the Guardians, as they defeated the Cubs 2-1.
