Liam Payne’s last Instagram post before his shocking death included a photo with his One Direction bandmates.
The 31-year-old singer died on Wednesday after falling from his room at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel in Buenos Aires, triggering a flood of tributes from around the world.
In what became his final Instagram post, on May 29, Liam shared a snapshot from 2013 with his bandmates while paying tribute to American documentary filmmaker and producer Morgan Spurlock.
The image showed the group (Liam, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik) posing with Morgan at the premiere of their concert documentary One Direction: This Is Us.
The post was captioned: “Rest in peace Morgan Spurlock, it was a pleasure working with you.”

The comments on the post have now been flooded with tributes to Liam following his death.
Several witnesses said Liam had fallen from his room at the Casa Sur Palmero Hotel shortly after 5pm (ART) on Wednesday night.
Fans have gathered outside the hotel, where emergency services are present, and a red tent has been erected.
Local police have since launched an investigation into the sudden death of the 31-year-old man, as tributes flood in after the tragedy.
A police statement from local police said they arrived at the hotel after being “reported of an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol.”
Spokesman for the city’s ambulance service provider, Alberto Crescenti, said Payne had fallen about 40 meters and suffered “serious injuries that were incompatible with life.”
He said: ‘The alarm was raised at 5:04 pm local time saying that a person was lying in an internal courtyard of Casa Sur.
‘At 5:11 pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead.

‘Later we discovered that he had been a famous singer. Unfortunately, the injuries he had suffered as a result of the fall proved fatal. There was no possibility of resuscitating him.’
The star’s latest Snapchat post showed him happily posing with partner Kate Cassidy as they looked in the mirror, a photo that was originally taken last August.
Other posts from the final moments of the star’s life showed him enjoying lunch in his hotel room, where he revealed that the couple had “woken up at 1pm every day” and had decided on Forest Gump as their costume. Halloween.
Liam began his quest for stardom when he initially auditioned for the X Factor in 2008.
At just 14, Liam impressed the judges with his own version of Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon, but was later eliminated from the show.
