But if I lift weights, I don’t sweat as much.’
He continued: ‘So, a lot of times I come from somewhere or I go somewhere. And I just don’t care. I’m going to show up, I have 45 minutes, let’s do it and I’m going to run where I’m going. So I don’t do it for effect. I didn’t do that to say, “Oh, let me be so different and wear leather pants and glasses.” No, it’s just me walking from the street.

Lenny Kravitz has been in promotional mode in support of his upcoming twelfth studio album, which was preceded by the release of lead single TK421 last October and the follow-up, Human, in late March.
Like most of his previous works, the New York City native, who also grew up in Los Angeles, played most of the instruments alongside guitarist and frequent collaborator Craig Ross, who also contributed to the writing and recording.
The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist first gained recognition for his music when he was known as Romeo Blue, but by the time he released his debut studio album, Let Love Rule (1989), he had adopted his given name once again.
A combination of rock and funk with a retro feel from the 1960s and 1970s, critics initially debated that he was a new and talented artist, while others thought that he relied too much on his old musical influences.
But it wasn’t long before he incorporated other elements into his music, such as R&B, reggae, hard rock and soul, to accompany his already intact retro rock and funk style.
