Late & Live descended into chaos on Friday when Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu clashed with Layton Williams following her eviction from the house on Friday.
The Love Island star, 29, tried to ‘blame the editing’ for her unfair portrayal on the show but Layton, also 29, was having none of it and told her to pull out explosive argument with Marisha Wallace during Thursday’s episode.
After his controversial comments on the spin-off show, many fled to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on the conversation.
While Layton has yet to comment on the situation, his X account showed he liked posts saying he was ‘putting her in her place’ and not ‘bullying’.
He liked the posts saying: ‘did he confront HER bad behaviour? you must be 15 because you clearly never watched the older seasons of big brother because it was tame lmao.’

The Love Island star looked rather sheepish after trying to ‘blame the editing’ for her unfair portrayal on the show in light of her explosive row with Marisha Wallace
‘Umm, no.. he just put her in her place. Not bullying.’
‘Oh you were the voice of THE PEOPLE tonight, worship you.’
Layton is yet to comment on his behavior on the show, but he defended himself after one user said he should know better after his time on Strictly.
One social media user wrote: ‘You’d think you’d know better!!! You are doing to Ekin Si (sic) what you complain the public did to you. Wt* just disgusting and disgusting of you.’
Layton commented: ‘This is *SUCH* a reach. I don’t @ any of the housemates my opinions. I say what I need to say on a show I hired to speak my truth, Strictly & CBB are two *very* different shows. They are judged on their character, not dance. So plz, sh*u and go stan your favorites xxx’
Others had similar opinions, with one user also writing: ‘Layton you are a bully. A disgrace to a woman.’
‘Layton treated her like she was trying to steal Nikita from him, people need to get over themselves, she didn’t kill anyone. Layton has experienced bullying, now everyone is jumping on his bandwagon to bully Ekin Su, leave her alone.’
“Out and out ugly Layton. When the bullied becomes the bully.’
But Layton, 29, was having none of it. He immediately joined the conversation and told her she was dragging out the argument
While some branded the former Strictly star a ‘bully’ and said he did to Ekin-Su what others did to him during his time on the dance show, others disagreed, calling him ‘the voice of the people’.
In Friday’s episode, Ekin-Su broke down in hysterical tears after Marisha picked her in the face-to-face nominations, before storming off to her bed as the 38-year-old musical star followed to apologise.
Talks about the dramatic performance in which Ekin-Su burned theater star as ‘fake’, Layton fired back at the reality star as he revealed his full support for Marisha in the confrontation.
Ekin exclaimed: ‘When Marisha nominated me it actually showed me her true colors that she had been thinking about winning the game all along.’
Host AJ Odudu tried to reason with the star when she suggested: ‘Well, what we have to remember, you know, she’s American, it’s strategy, game.’
But Layton was quick to intervene as he explained: ‘Marisha basically had to choose someone and she chose you just like you chose Louis.
‘Louis crushed it you know and kind of kept it moving and unfortunately you dragged it on and I kind of felt for Marisha at that moment.
‘I was like, you know what this is her big day, she’d just found out she’d been nominated for an Olivier Award and to see her crying in Big Brother…’ as Ekin-Su interrupted: ‘You have ‘I haven’t seen everything they cut out, but ok.’
Still, Layton was having none of it as he hit back: ‘Don’t blame the edit, one thing we’re not going to do is blame the edit.
‘We don’t blame the editing girl. We see what we see and it was just a shame, it was a great shame.’
When host Will Best opened up to the audience to try and garner some support for Ekin-Su, he struggled to find an audience that was on her side.

‘Anyone?’ he asked before an audience member raised his hand. ‘I wouldn’t say I was on Ekin’s side, but I would say I really respected you setting your boundaries and saying “look, I need space”, I think that was a really mature response’ .
“So were you others on the fence or were you on Marisha’s side?” asked Will, to which the audience all exclaimed, ‘Marisha!’
An onlooker then told Ekin: ‘I think sometimes you have to listen to the positive, you’ve never listened to the positive’.
‘Do you think that’s fair? That sometimes you need to listen to the positives when they are next to a negative’ asked Will.
“No, I’m taking the positive side,” Ekin-Su explained, “I’m just hurt that I wasn’t portrayed as myself on the show”.
As an awkward silence fell over the studio, Layton exclaimed, ‘Wait?!’ A somewhat irritated AJ said: ‘It’s interesting because you literally just walked out of the house.
“You do not know what has been seen or what has been said, but I can assure you that everything that has been seen and said has been said by you.”

Ekin-Su gave no answer and nodded quietly before her mother then interrupted the show in an attempt to defend her.
‘Can I ask a question?’ she began ‘Um, when Sharon left, she nominated three names, but she said two names, and when she said the third name, it’s been cut, why? Why has the third name been cut out?’
“No, I think she just gave two names,” assured Will, as Ekin told his mother to “leave it” before adding that she loved Sharon Osbourne.
The presenters then tried to get the show back on track as they quickly changed the subject to try and avoid any more awkwardness.
