Lauren Goodger has admitted she has “no one” as she discusses the terrible loneliness she has endured following the death of her daughter Lorena.

The 37-year-old TOWIE star gave birth to her second daughter in July 2022, but the little girl tragically passed away just minutes after being born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.

In the two years since Lorena’s death, Lauren – who has also suffered other traumas including the death of her ex Jake McLean and the separation from her daughters’ father Charles Drury – has claimed that friends and family have “disappeared” from her life.

And speaking in a candid interview with Paul C Brunson about his We need to talk podcast This week, Lauren detailed the struggles she’s been enduring as she moves through life with only her two-year-old daughter, Larose, by her side, noting, “She’s all I have.”

The TV personality also admitted that she believes she is “100% suffering” from depression as she recounted her lack of emotional support amid her traumas.

The TV personality also admitted that she believes she is “100% suffering” from depression when speaking about her lack of emotional support amid her traumas.

During the chat, Lauren broke down in tears as she talked about Lorena’s death and the impact it had on her life.

Asked how she gets over the pain of losing Lorena, Lauren tearfully replied: “Larose, because she’s all I have. She’s literally all I have and she’s the only person I love.”

Lauren, who also spoke about how she was forced to have an abortion in the chat, said that she never cries in front of people and always tries to contain her emotions.

Paul then spoke about how “lonely” Lauren feels, with the emotional star admitting: “I used to have lots of people, now I have no one and I don’t know why. My life has just been getting worse and worse and on top of that, it’s like life is stressing me out too. I haven’t been left alone.

After speaking about the financial problems she has been going through, Lauren said: “I’m moving on, but how much longer? How am I going to get through it? Because I have no other choice.”

Lauren went on to say that she will never let her daughter Larose see how unhappy she is, noting that she adopts a cheerful mother persona and enjoys days outdoors with her little one.

She added: “I have no friends.”

Certified life coach Paul then went over the five stages of trauma and noted that depression is one of them, prompting Lauren to admit that she feels depressed.

She said, “You know what? I’ve never had depression in my life, but I think I’m suffering 100%.”

On the podcast, Paul also spoke about the need for emotional support from family and friends to help people overcome trauma, with Lauren noting, “I don’t have that.”

“I’m trying, but it’s very difficult. There are friends there, but they’re not there. I’m trying. My daughter’s friends, since she goes to preschool, I’ve started talking to their mothers.”

Despite inviting other parents to play with her daughter, Lauren confessed that she is worried that she will not be “accepted” because she is “different”, but insists that she is “trying to build a new life”.

Sharing more about the lack of support in her life, Lauren addressed the hernia she suffered last month and recounted how she did not receive a single visitor amid her painful injury.

“I just had this hernia and no one has come to see if I’m okay,” he explained.

“Life is hard, but I’m going to be okay because I’m me and I’ll get through it.”

'I used to have a lot of people, now I have no one and I don't know why. My life has gone from bad to worse and on top of that it's like life stresses me out. They haven't left me alone.'

During the chat, Lauren recounted how she “rushed” through her grieving period for her daughter Larose and went on to say that she now wants “normalcy” in her life.

As for her love life, she added: “I haven’t been with anyone because I’m not ready. Because there’s work I need to do on myself, it has to be right for Larose and, besides, I’m Lauren. I need that, I need to be in love.

“If I can’t get it from my family and friends, I need to create a new family unit. That’s why I think I need to be ready to start dating.”

This comes after Lauren revealed last month that she feels abandoned by her family and friends after “everyone disappeared” from her life following the tragic death of her baby daughter Lorena.

Lauren, who is also a mother to two-year-old Larose, said that over time her support network has diminished and she has never experienced such loneliness.

Narration OK!: “As time goes by, after what I went through losing Lorena, people think, ‘Oh, it’s been two years, she’s fine. ‘ But actually it’s worse because you feel more alone. I’ve never experienced loneliness like that in my life.”

Lauren said she has lost contact with close friends and explained that while her parents don’t see Larose as much as she would like, her older sister Nicola is the one who is always there to provide support.

She told the publication: ‘No one steps forward, people have DM’d me on Instagram to say ‘the exact same thing happened to me, as soon as I had this loss (losing a baby) everyone disappeared’. I don’t know what it does to people but they step back, they don’t step forward.’

She also spoke about how she gets help from her ex and father of both daughters, Charles Drury, 27, with whom she shares the upbringing of her children, although he lives three and a half hours from her home in Essex.

He said: “In case of emergency, he is not available. I meet him twice a week (to pick up Larose and drop her off) halfway.”
