Hectic libido?
Maybe you’ve thought about buying some new, naughty lingerie to liven things up in the bedroom. Eating a plate of oysters, nature’s aphrodisiac, might even have crossed your mind in your pursuit of passion.
But now there’s a new way to speed up your sex drive, even if it’s unusual.
Beauty clinics are now offering £400 salmon sperm injections which are administered directly into the vagina.
Women looking to eliminate their wrinkles can now get this unusual “touch-up” directly on their face.
Aesthetic nurse Amanda Azzopardi claims that injecting it into ‘intimate areas’ can help improve ‘vaginal dryness’ and ‘sexual arousal’
In addition to Botox-like effects, polynucleotides, as they are medically known, are said to give clients a “baby face.”
Similar rejuvenating effects are seen in the vagina, says Amanda Azzopardi, an aesthetic nurse who runs clinics in London, Liverpool and North Wales.
Its powerful effects counteract the loss of elasticity that occurs with age.
Azzopardi says this can help combat “vaginal dryness and painful intercourse.”
“A lot of older women come to me and tell me that they no longer feel any kind of sexual arousal,” she told MailOnline.
“So we do the ‘O shot’ and they report stronger, more frequent orgasms, greater natural lubrication, and greater sexual arousal.”
“Life-changing” results that can improve your sex life can be seen after two to four sessions of these treatments, says Ms. Azzopardi.
The beauty treatment uses purified and sterilized DNA molecules extracted from salmon or trout sperm (pictured), known as polynucleotides, and some doctors claim it is safer than other cosmetic injectables.
According to Ms. Azzopardi, results can be seen after two to four sessions of these treatments.
“This changes their lives completely,” he said.
It typically uses purified and sterilized DNA molecules extracted from salmon or trout sperm, known as polynucleotides that have anti-inflammatory effects.
The South Korean aesthetics industry has been using the treatment for more than a decade.
But now it is gaining popularity among Western celebrities. Jennifer Aniston told The Wall Street Journal last year that she is taking advantage of its rejuvenating qualities for her facial skin.
When polynucleotides are injected into human skin, fibroblasts are activated.
Fibroblasts are elastic molecules found in the skin that help maintain the structural structure of the tissue. As we age, these fibroblasts decrease.
Thus, when polynucleotides are injected under the eyes, on the cheekbones or on the neck, they theoretically “rejuvenate” the skin. Azzopardi says that’s exactly how it works in “intimate areas” too.
Azzopardi also claims that intermate polynucleotides are better for mature women than injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is also used to stimulate libido in private clinics.
Some doctors say polynucleotides are safer than other cosmetic injectables, such as Botox, which have been linked to a catalog of complications including blocked blood vessels, lumpy skin and infections.
Azzopardi also claims that intermate polynucleotides are better for mature women than injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), another libido stimulant offered in private clinics.
“PRP is great if you’re 20 years old, because you have all those fibroblasts, you have the collagen, you have the elastin and your thyroid or your hormones,” he said.
“But if you’re older, if you’re 40, 50, 60 years old, your healthy cells are dying.
“So it’s much better to use something that’s pre-made, as it’s very safe along with other treatments.”
“It’s great for mature skin to improve cellular aging and improve hydration,” he added.
